Yeah, but afterwards it felt like he was scoring at will. But then he just sat for a while and they also just stopped passing him the ball. lol

LeBron shouldn’t be playing Center at all. The 76ers need more bigs to cover for Embid

Feelscreative101 | PHI

I’m 100% worried. Our primary backup C is out for the season unexpectedly, and 1 other has a scary injury - lower back. The whole world knows all our ammo will be used for a C this season.

OnCourtSNKRS

Playing center and only having two rebounds is baffling, Sixers need a true center for when Embiid is out like this especially since Hukporti is out for the season.

Saitsuofleaves

There aren’t 30 playable centers in the NBA as it is, they aren’t going to find one.

Yeah lakers and jazz both need backup centres. That’s just of the top of my head.LeBron has been getting a ton of boards for Philly previously but actually playing centre is completely different.

Bron rested pretty much a majority of regular season due to Luka and AR last year (plus injury), he had enough juice for the playoffs. I don’t think running him to the ground this early is a good idea imo

MstrNixx | TOR

He can play Centre competently against Centres like KAT in spurts, not traditional bigs. Also he just doesn’t offer any rim protection. So drive and Kick becomes a big problem

henryofclay | LAL

-29 | 6 hours ago

He wasn’t great most of the season outside of March. His numbers really mask it, but his impact was much less and many advanced stats showed it.

He can’t free himself up off the dribble anymore, he’s mostly a non-factor on defense outside of a highlight steal or block here and there, and he doesn’t make the timely jumpshots that you need. Any team he’s on is constantly playing 4v5 defense.

It’s why he led the league in fastbreak points, he wouldn’t play D and would just leak out at the first opportunity. Dude is amazing for 42, but we gotta start acting like he’s actually 42. The best 42 year old ever is still 42 lol.

iwantsomecrablegsnow | DET

5 | 6 hours ago

They were trying to get the other guys to play with the ball in their hands and not have LBJ run the offense. They just kept passing him the ball for months last year and he would pass it back. Then when it finally clicked, they were the best team in the league for a month or two..then luka got hurt and it all got messed up.

Clayp2233

They were a top team in the league but got utterly destroyed by OKC the game Luka and Reaves got hurt, think they were down 35 when Luka exited

Cautious_End4838 | LAL

Luka led the league in scoring last year. Don’t know how that adds up to the fantasy in your head that he was some how deferring to Lebron.

henryofclay | LAL

Bruh you act like that was only one year. And the only time he actually took a step back was in March. When the Lakers were their most successful.

VegetaDaPrince

He played solid defense the first two games he played against the Knicks and Cavs. How is this nonsense still being spewed? Especially when they lost this game because of their offense.

Throwthisawayagainst

5 | 6 hours ago

I watched a lot of lakers games over the last few years. LeBron not getting back on defense has been a thing for a long time…. I haven’t watched a sixers game this year yet but maybe he’s trying to play all around so his offensive numbers are taking a hit?

Tigers2Red

They lost because they got beat by a better team.

Did you watch the entire last several years on the lakers? Tf you talkin about 2 games at the beginning of the season. Every single thing I said is a fact to anyone who actually followed the lakers last couple years. You Bron lovers just wanna glaze and not look at who he actually is now.

effurshadowban

His best lineups were with the bench. In fact, the best lineups for the Lakers, period, were LeBron w/o Luka and AR, then Luka+AR w/o LeBron, then lineups with the Big 3.
