SGAs only real trait he has above Luka is defense.
Otherwise he’s been the beneficiary of being on one of the best constructed teams in NBA history.

Ehh. I think Luka’s defensive issues are overblown (he’s not a guard defender, and when engaged he’s alright) but at worst SGA will be above average on defense; Luka at his worst (due to a combination of high offensive load and his tendencies) is a detriment.
Neither are going to be your POA for 48 minutes, and their teams do make a big difference. But it is noticeable.

Didn’t help that he was injured so much that season while Luka got super hot in March and April after a somewhat tentative start to his Laker career. I think AD played nine games for the Mavs while Luka had something like 30 for the Lakers? It was a bad trade that then looked like a generationally terrible trade.
