I’ll go a step farther and say this isn’t a foul at all. The defender stayed horizontal to cut Luka off and force the drive wider and all contact was initiated by Luka.
It doesn’t matter who initiates contact and if the defender is horizontal. You are not allowed to run forwards into the offensive player. Go watch 0:18 to 0:20. He’s clearly running directly into Luka and into his driving line. You can say he flopped and embellished contact or disagree with the rule but this is clear-cut. If this is allowed, then no one will slide their feet. Just run over the offensive player if you’re bigger.
