He plays like AG… If we have 2 AGs, we’ll be so good.
PUT AG ON ICE UNTIL THE PLAYOFFS
This entire class is just insane
Legitimately. So dope
So far he looks like a perfect role player for them. They might actually be able to live without Gordon for 20 minutes a night.
ya but how are we gonna live without brazile for 20 minutes a night?
Mark my words, Trevon Brazile is going to be a star in this league. And the nuggets, in typical nuggets fashion, will not be able to sign him after his rookie contract
I’m high on him. He can be a great role player but I don’t know about being a star. His handles are poor. Passing seems non-existent. He came into the league at 24 years old.
Pretty much an ideal fit for the Nuggets defense.
Not just the 35th pick, but 35th pick with 2 2nd rounders via the trade down with Spurs. Too soon to crown him the savior of the team? Hope not
Nuggets needed athleticism badly this offseason and he’s like an injection of fentanyl
Nuggets needed athleticism badly this offseason
100%
he’s like an injection of fentanyl
Huh.
They got want they needed and more is what he meant
He’s always pushing fent…
How the hell did this dude go 35th, talent is off the charts
Bad offseason my ass. Just because we didn’t trade for Giannis or Lamelo or Mitch Robinson doesn’t mean Tenzer/Wallace/Adelman weren’t actively looking for players that complement the existing system.
It’s the same way the spurs operated after 2003. Just figure out what the team needs and draft or sign players that fill those needs. Right now the team needs defenders and players who can score off the bench and that’s exactly what the team acquired.
I liked the pick at the time and this is definitely encouraging. He looked ready to play, even in the big moments.
Part of his immediate success is just how sorely we needed someone of this profile to step in and be a natural fit since AG is starting to fade with occasional great performances. Easier to perform as a rookie when you don’t need to be moulded and get to play your game and it just clicks
I was the only one who said he’d be good.
