The Golden State Warriors are 0-3 for the first time in the Steph Curry era. What should the next steps for the Warriors organization be for the future?
I’m more surprise that 19-20 season they didn’t start 0-3
Steph didn’t get injured till like 5 games in or something and they beat the Pelicans to start 1-2.
i remember that win lol him and Dlo were skipping back to the locker room all happy after the game
He broke a finger in his non-shooting hand in November and sat out for the season. Usually a 4-6 week injury.
well the season got postponed and we weren’t good enough to rejoin
Before the Steph Curry era, the warriors are total jokes.
So the universe is back to it’s balance now
It’s kinda funny talking to younger people now who only know the warriors as a perpetual big fish. Pre-Steph they were just the small market, laughing stock team you’d line up against in 2k when you wanted to absolutely thrash a team.
I know some (international) “warriors fans” don’t even know where golden state is, so yes the fanbase is funny
Post Run TMC our highlights were Latrell Sprewell making the best decision of his career by forcing a trade after choking his coach and the We Believe Warriors upsetting the first seed Mavs with MVP Dirk.
Warriors objectively were terrible for three decades.
Watching Andris Biedrins shoot a FT was a highlight
Bay Area has never been a small market
It def was before curry, all the bandwagon tech bros hopped on.
03-04 Warriors were the second lowest in franchise valuation in the league.
I think it’s going to be a drew Brees Saints situation where the franchise was only good during his time playing.
respect tyler shough he boutta hoop in paris bud
To be fair, he’s definitely decent. The Saints may have found their next Franchise qb.Doesn’t have to be the next Mahomes for that to be the truth lol
The great thing is that the Warriors drafted a rookie who’s old enough to have seen those Run TMC era teams.
Before the Stephen Curry era I could not have told you what city the Warriors played in.
That run in 0607 was so baller and honestly if they had one serviceable big they wouldn’t have been so bad. Young Steph, Monta, Dorrel and David Lee were a solid core but the bench and depth was abysmal. You cannot have Andris Biendris as your starting center for as long as they did, or at all haha.
Sucks. Reminds me of Lakers with Kobe getting old and taking up all the cap space.
Like Kobe though I was never mad they just stuck with him and let him cook. Steph has earned it given how much the fan base loves him and how much he has given to the game, just like Kobe did
They’d do so much damage to their reputation if they traded him against him will. It’s not worth it in my opinion.
wrong! trade him for vj edgecombe
Very well!
I totally agree
Kobe was coming off an achilles tear though and it was kind of clear he wasn’t ever going to be close to the same player anymore. Steph can still do it at an elite level so him going out like this feels different.
Steph is 38, he can do it at an elite level but in burst
I don’t think Warriors will be all that surprised by this, I mean even Steve Kerr kind of said before the season they weren’t chasing championships anymore
Loan Curry to the Valkyries for Game 5
Just give the keys to Yax already. Let my National Champ rise.
All Warriors fans’ hopes and dreams rely on a rookie who’s old enough to make catch-up contributions to his 401k.
Do kings fans even have hopes anymore?
Every Kings fans hopes the team wins their games and the Lakers and Warriors lose their games. We’re 3-2 right now.
Brutal that 15 years of tanking brought yall no rookies better than the 24 year old.
Watch him out up luka numbers
Yax will be past his prime next year /s
Trade curry, waive everyone else, tank for 5 five years
In this lottery system economy?
You can still tank just have to be smarter about it
Well, they don’t have a center. Porzingis is practically on an expiring ($3M gtd next year). Schematically, Myles Turner probably fits while the Bucks are 0-3.
Turner for Porzingis & a 2027 first; good in-season development out of Yaxel; getting Butler back as early and as healthy as possible; and prayers to keep everybody healthy?
They probably shouldn’t trade more than one draft pick, so this feels like one of the only ways to salvage this year if that’s what they’re trying to do.
I’ve wanted that for a while. Steph/Podz/Butler/Dray/Turner with Yax as sixth man is a respectable lineup
Lmao not getting rid of butler is another reason why they’re in the predicament that they’re in. Had they done the JB trade and shipped off butler they’d be in better shape rn.
i cant believe they did not wanted to trade for JB, was Boston asking for something else?
The warriors were straight up willing to give up JB & 4 FRP’s lmao
“Finally, the fuckery can come to an end”
Steve Kerr has the worst rotations I have ever seen
my brother in christ have you seen the players that were available to play today
It’s been like this every fucking year
You have any evidence or analysis beyond the win/loss record?
Or did you see Reddit comments about “three guard lineups” and now all you know how to do is complain about rotations?
It should be a rule where if you complain about rotations and lineups, you gotta provide a better rotation/lineup.
hc really are cursed with the “you live long enough to become villain” every team who underperforms has the coach’s head on stake. people are surprised when a coty gets fired the next year but reddit and the media push the same agenda.
And son name
Knickson fyve is worse than nicholas
Whose son is that?
it’s not even nicholas. it’s just nick. his legal name is nick. ignore the fact that im lying
just like its steven kerr
next steps are win a game so they don’t go 0-4
It’s going to be at least 0-6
It was a good run.
Rebuild with Podz and Yaxel. No reason to trade picks away.
Their next three games are the Nuggets, TWolves and the Lakers againThey could possibly be 0-6 after their Friday night game against the Lakers😭
This edition of 15–50 won’t be as confident and happy.
Glad I didn’t get season tickets.
how did yaxel do?
so long season, no 3 games stretch really matters
First step win a game.
9-73
Trade for Giannis
