Looks like we got lucky with such a deep draft. Traded down to pick #35 and still ended up with a gem. He may have just saved the team.

I was very impressed with his effort and rebounding even in the OKC game. I’m a fan

A whole country gets to play one single Spider-Man. Nuggets have it a bit more fair

Bulls had that country that played for them in the 90s

Miscto3 | DEN

Motor issues in college apparently. All I see is unlimited motor. Potential to be a defensive gamechanger in the league

Asleep_Ground1710 | CHI

28 | 5 hours ago

The 3 point volume is very encouraging on offense as well

Playoff defenses don’t care for low volume high percentage shooters, and the Nuggets offense in the playoffs have had consistent issues recently with missing 3s or not taking enough of them

Miscto3 | DEN

7 | 5 hours ago

At the very least hell be an elite dunkers spot guy and a crasher on the offensive glass. The 3 point shot is a cherry on top

SailingRelic65 | Anthony Davis

17 | 5 hours ago

It wasn’t motor. He tore his acl sophomore year then didn’t look like the same player for a while

No-Vehicle7367

8 | 4 hours ago

So he tore his ACL and still measured a 40 inch vert? Wtf

SailingRelic65 | Anthony Davis

7 | 4 hours ago

Watch his Arkansas dunks pre injury. Multiple dunk of the year contenders in there

Hopsalong | DEN

13 | 5 hours ago

If he can play the 4 and we have AG at the 3, that lineup is big and can shoot. When Cam comes back, we’ll have options

Salty_Helicopter9356 | DEN

AG at the 3 has me a bit skeptical

makingtacosrightnow | DEN

We just watched it work tonight.

Concern defensively or offensively? AG has turned himself into a good shooter.

CreatiScope | BOS

It’s whatever, 2 wings, Murray and Braun as the guards. That’s a HUGE fucking lineup, man.

citizend13 | DEN

can also cover for jokic against much quicker teams.

Narrow-Theory-3533

It was Brazille at the 3, not AG.

what scout said he had motor issues?

as an arkansas fan he was the only guy i knew was gonna show up every game.

laymanmovies | DEN

68 | 5 hours ago

This statline might not look as impressive next to the others from this game but Brazile felt like, by far, the loudest and most impactful player on the court for us tonight

IcyTie9 | DEN

23 | 5 hours ago

yup, he closed so many driving lanes and forced people to kick it out, just like people clown on CB when he leads the team on +- like every fucking game because they don’t see what would happen if he wasn’t there, free paths to the rim

Salty_Helicopter9356 | DEN

He made a ton of big plays. Which is a great sign

Someone is losing their spot in the rotation for him. He was amazing in the preseason for those who watched. The exact archetype Denver desperately needs.

IcyTie9 | DEN

7 | 5 hours ago

i think hes gonna be taking some minutes from spencer jones and letting AG rest mostly, unless its a game where we need to go bigger

InTheMorning_Nightss | LAC

6 | 5 hours ago

Fully healthy it’ll likely be Braun.

Murray/Cam/Gordon/Brazile/Jokic has the advantage of being huge and lengthy, which is just an inherent advantage defensively.

They’ll also certainly need Brazile’s help side defense as they lost it with Watson.

Goatlikejordan | NYK

27 | 5 hours ago

It’s not going to be braun. They’re fine with Brazile coming off the bench for now

makingtacosrightnow | DEN

6 | 4 hours ago

Already 4 injuries who knows what these rotations are going to end up looking like.

InTheMorning_Nightss | LAC

1 | 4 hours ago

If they keep getting eaten alive on defense then they’ll be looking to make changes.

nguyenjitsu | DEN

7 | 4 hours ago

No way. Braun is the best on ball defender of that group (even if Cam is good) and a much stronger cutter which we need with Jokic. Cam’s spot is much more in danger especially with his contract and propensity to not be a consistent 3 pt shooter with Denver

InTheMorning_Nightss | LAC

2 | 4 hours ago

If Braun can’t find his 3 point shot, then his role is absolutely in jeopardy. He’s currently 1-9 from deep after a season where he just shot 30% from deep.

I don’t care how good his defense is (which to be clear, it’s not elite), that’s simply too much of a liability come playoffs.

ElBigTaco | DEN

1 | 3 hours ago

uh he was a big part of holding SGA to his first under 20 in like 3 years, and was insane on ball screens and closeouts on dejounte tonight. shooting yes needs work but everything weve heard all camp is hes improved there and worked on it, still put up 15 tonight on good efficiency too despite the lack of the 3pter. So far he looks irreplaceable in the lineup cause his poa defending

Zealousideal_Hawk329 | DEN

A 6’10 small forward has been a good formula for the nuggets in the past. They actually successfully ramped up their defense in the clutch

MrBuckBuck | POR

21 | 5 hours ago

If he can develop the passing game, then he will be the real steal of the draft

I remember he was considered a wild card; scouts were afraid of the fact that he struggles with offense and game outside his athleticism.

He looks really promising.

Mind you, he is 23 years old.

Putrid_Caramel3301 | DEN
