is this a good welder for doing really basic stuff like repairs?
If you’re ok with the welds never being straight then go ahead…
yeah that’s what i was mainly worried about.
Pretty sure submerging it in holy water before welding will make it run straight tho.Worth a shot if it’s cheap.
Nah that never works.
But they’re fabulous.
Show me one straight welder 😅
It’s really you, the HolyJesusChrist?Hold up.I just get in my Subaru and call my boyfriend to tell him the good news!
HOT STUFF COMIN THRU!
Reddit won’t let me award this comment and that’s bullshit
I’ll just give you one instead.
Dawwh, thanks!
Did someone say LGBT welder?
Wasn’t expecting to see my picture show up in this thread. How do I issue a DMCA!!
LGBTW*
300 amps my ass!
Is this an invitation?
If it comes close to that he’ll never use that much tho. He’s not gouging with that little thing lol
Counter goes to 300.
The specs don’t even make sense. See Project Farm on YouTube. He reviews some cheap welders. Some are useful and much better than others.
I have one of those boxes, and it barely runs 6011, and run 6013 fine.7018 and 6010? -forget about it.Also, I am not so positive about 110V… I live in 220V country, and it seems like everyone on American youtube who got similar box received 220V variant too, so they had to connect it to 240V outlet.
oh lol, it says LGBT welder.
Pretty sure they meant Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) Inverter Technology. Thats more than lost in translation.
whoosh
No!
Two left-handed, nitrile coated gloves?
One each for fun…
I wonder if there’s an additional furry pipeline attachment you can buy for it
I’d rather get a flux core welder, more convenient and easier to learn
Man I welded with a $150AU mig/mma a few days ago and was blown away at the value for money.
I picked up this one last year and have done a few smaller projects with it. My friend has the same one and uses it for small things around his farm. It runs 6011 rod just fine. For small projects and being an amateur I have no complaints.
Only ran mine off 110v so far, but it will run off 220 or 110.
what the hell is LGBT inverter technology? that’s your first clue it’s a piece of junk. someone is trying to use a CLICK name to describe something they know nothing about. your second clue is MMA 315 to describe SMAW welding process.
If you want your welds to bitch piss moan and complain then yeah sure. Buy a homowelder
