Not to mention TWO DIFFERENT triple-digit pitches AS A LEFTY. That dude’s a monster.
Yep that’s what really makes him disgusting. Has a 85 mph curveball with nearly 5 feet of movement, but he can also blow your doors off with triple digit heat. AND he’s one of the best ground ball pitchers in the entire league. Absolutely insane when he’s on, and apparently he’s always on.

Yeah he honestly is low key the postseason MVP for us, although the entire pitching staff has stepped up and the bullpen is shutdown.

I kind if wish there was an award for best pitcher of the Series in addition to MVP. Kind of like a Cy Young award of the World Series. He’d be in the running for that if there was one. I don’t think he’d pass Wild Bill in MVP voting but maybe.
