I feel bad for the real fans in their fandom. The people in that sub are incredibly angry and toxic.

I certainly have no ill will against them. They were a pesky bunch and deserved to win that series. They outplayed us in every facet of the game and are doing so against the Rays so far.

The Dodgers lead in the 4th inning or later of every game and the Rays have lost two 1-run games in a row with the final out coming with the go-ahead run on base in scoring position.

Once again I feel like too much of the discourse is shaped by the broadcast call, and it irks me no end that the call seems to always be anti-brewers. Reasonable people know it’s pretty much as 50⁄50 a swing/not swing situation, but Joe Davis IMMEDIATELY throws gasoline on the fire by invoking replay review as a potential to “fix” the call (implied wrong).
Same shit happened on the Ty France “home run” when fucking Kash Patel kept braying on about how the call should be a homer when nothing in the ground rules at AmFam would suggest that. It’s getting irksome and we need better out of announcers.
At this point you have to wonder if Joe Davis and Mark Walter were business partners. That’s the only explanation for how much of a Debby downer he is towards the Brewers.
Every fanbase thinks the broadcast crew is against them. I’m guilty of it myself.

I don’t think it’s from an anti Brewers perspective but moreso “this seems wrong to me so I’m going to incite outrage even though deep down I know I don’t know the rules”
It’s irresponsible broadcasting. It’s okay for an announcer to admit when he doesn’t know a rule, the baseball rules are dense and kinda crazy. Philllies announcers love to misrepresent or outright invent their own rules when something weird happens. It’s asinine.
