We won a championship because of the return from trading Smart; and I would go so far as to say he was the heart of the team and his departure was the end of an era.
Tatum has learned to trust that the Front Office knows what they are doing, and I don’t blame him for trusting that they will handle the business side of things in the best way they can.
There was definitely a reason that JB was traded and I think the chances we never find out are very slim. Just give it time. We’ll hear about it from all different perspectives. I would be extremely surprised and disappointed if JT was proven to have went out of his way to influence JB being traded.
