The Miami Heat Are Now 0-3 After Trading For Giannis and Klay - Are Currently 15th In The Eastern Conference and 30th in the League
https://www.espn.com/nba/standings/_/group/league
Miami have the body language of a team going through a mid season slump except it’s been only three games
Miami is the ideal retirement home for NBA players looking to chill outđ„°
They just going to chill all season long no worry
So thatâs what âheat cultureâ is
I hated the decision to put it on a jersey with the quote on the floor. I think they completely jumped the shark
Heat culture = talking about how special heat culture is
I thought it was a yogurt recipe
Arguably bottom three franchise in the league. Theyre just lucky that Butler helped make believe Spoelstra was actually a good coach
Word for word what was said when Jimmy got here. The jokes repeat themselves.
The Heat are going to “chill around” and find themselves as the 7th seed.
Miami (and Las Vegas to some extent) seem too âfunâ and distracting for millionaires to me.
That’s the worst indicator so far. Before the 4th quarter of this game the team looked so mentally broken, only 3 games in. Maybe almost coming back in the 4th this game sparked something but we’ll have to wait and see.
Right now we look just completely broken.
Honestly it’s probably fine you’ll get this out of the way early and find a groove mid season
Better to look like this after 3 games than 60 games
We need more offense, especially guys that can create their own shot. Maybe Lavine gets bought out and we sign him but we have so much money locked up in just Bam and Giannis.
Giannis had the worst +/- at -20 (score difference at end was 5) and just looked hellishly frustrated before the first half even ended. I don’t see things ending well for this team at all. Mitchell practically carried that fourth quarter effort.
In the first half Giannis saw no one else could do anything so he tried to do it all himself, he was missing shit left and right but he was aggressive. Davion, Pelle and Portis clicked and got us back into the game, Bam took a backseat when that was happening.
The problem is that Giannis needs certain players around him. Otherwise he is an effective player but he doesn’t raise the floor enough unless you have the right complimentary players around him.
Bam and Giannis together seem like a really redundant fit
Well yeah. They traded away their good young players
It’s the body language of a team realizing we traded for a superstar and now we have no depth no shooting and the other teams are all better than us…
For reference the heat were 9-8 when Lebron shoulder bumped Spoelstra
Aging Giannis and Bam are NOT prime LeBron and near-prime Wade.
Giannis is not a very adaptable or high IQ player by all-star standards, and Bam is an extremely tentative offensive player. And they’re very redundant together, and both need to be surrounded by shooters that Miami doesn’t have.
I hate people comparing this team to that team. We currently have no 2nd, 3rd or 4th option player.
Bam?
My statement stands.
Better rev up those playerâs only meetings
They look like they thought they’d just sleepwalk into being a good team and are shocked that actual good teams are completely wrecking them. Their defense looks so lazy. IDC how good your defensive personel is, if they’re not hustling, they’re going to get cooked by modern NBA shooting. And their offense is completely disorganized. Time for them to remember that being a good NBA team actually takes effort and focus.
Love Island NBA
What 6 years of Jimmy Butler does to MFs
Yeah ‘cause it’s been threee fuckin’ games.
It’s October. Why are ya’ll overreacting so much?
they ass
The “and Klay” part is hilarious
It’s like saying China and Albania make up 1/8th of the world’s population.
I mean, Jeff Bezos and myself have $378 billion dollars.
crazy how you could have 499 million dollars to your name and not contribute a single number to this statement
And the second largest economy!
unicorn sentence
Which they didn’t even trade for him. They got him when the Mavs bought him out
This version of Klay is like the Lakers version of Dennis Rodman
He’s not that bad is he?
(After looking it up) It’s only been two games but he’s shooting .29/.29⁄100. Like that’s crazy efficiency on free throws right there. Just have teams foul Klay Thompson all the time and you’re good.
When Pistons played the Heat, I couldn’t believe how badly everything was clanking off the rim. Part of me would get nervous when it left his hand because I remember Klay of old but then it hit the rim like a snare drum every time.
Klank Thompson
How bad was Rodman on the Lakers? All I can do is look up his stats and those don’t seem…. Horrible
Rodman was washed and couldnât do anything on the court except get rebounds, and rebounding wasnât a problem with the Lakers because they had Shaq. As a result, Rodman was worthless to those Lakers.
However, if that wasnât enough, Rodman was as bad as ever (worse?) off the court as he was previously, so the Lakers literally said âFuck thisâ and cut him before the playoffs started. Literally no one (Shaq, Kobe, etc) went to bat for him or said it was a bad move, which is an indictment of how bad he was for that team.
The corpse of Klay Thompson was never going to be a game changer.
How about the soul of klay Thompson
Depends on how well versed Spo is in necromancy.
the blood of klay thompson?
Youâre thinking too small, gotta go Khaleesi style
Two MVPS combined between the two of them.
B-b-b-but, the Heat were worried about off ball play so they signed a 3pt specialist who hasn’t been a star in 8 years!
This is literally what draymond was talking about and everyone seemed to take offense and fake outrage .
Outside the Northeast, Detroit and the Bay; people canât separate hating Draymond and his qualifications. Namely his unvarnished opinion on the game.
1-2-3âŠ4 đ€
Both Klay and Giannis had 14 point tonight, so I think it’s fair. Klay did have better shooting, though.
You still cannot NOT guard the dude tho. Thatâs still valuable
the most concerning part is that we went on a 25-4 run with Giannis on the bench
giannis and bam cant share the floor together
I said this after the trade and now i’m taking my 3 game victory lap.
I would also bet on Spo to figure something out though
how do you figure out 2 non shooting stars
Non-shooting? Bam can score 83 points in a game!
bam scored 83 shooting tons of 3s. making them is what he needs to work on
Wade and LeBron did it! /s
Congrats, you figured out what 98% of r/nba figured out when the trades happened
Heat need to trade for Brook Lopez solely to get him to teach Bam how to spot up for 3
how much of the cap are those two players occupying again? mid 60s?
Bam alone makes $50m
People treat Giannis like he’s a make-a-wish kid version of Lebron. I do not get it, he’s worked his ass off to become a very good player, but at the end of the day he’s a very flawed basketball player. He can’t shoot, he’s not a great passer, but his game requires him to be ball dominant. At the end of the day, he is a power forward who is allergic to the post who can’t pass.
He’s not as good as he thinks he is. That’s it.
He just needs spacing around him especially a stretch5. Hes a solid passer nowadays.
Yea dummies wanna downplay LeBron for switching teams but no one else can succeed like him doing that
who could have possibly seen this coming
They can. But they need someone who is a point of attack and those two and work around that. Giannis doesn’t need to have the ball 100 percent of the time. He needs another point of attack threat out there.
You mean Giannis and the second greatest scorer in NBA history?
Yep. Bam and Giannis are basically âdesignerâ JA and Mobley
Both really great players but donât fit together
Just because they’re two big men who are not great 3pt shooters?
I think Spo needs to dive into some Phil Jackson triangle offense maybe there’ll be something there to work with. Bam can shoot the mid-range. Both need to improve on their passing. Though Giannis has been so good at finishing I understand he’s not looking to passm
we are in year 2026
The triangle has been solved for 15 years man what?
Honestly I was confident we would win when Giannis came back in
And he came back in and killed it.
Portis, Davion and Pelle was a big driver on that 25-4 run. Bam took a back seat.
Player Stats â 4th Quarter (11:45â5:22)
Davion Mitchell: 10 Points on 3-3 shooting, 1-1 from 3. 1 Rebound. 5 Assists. 0 Steals. 0 Turnovers.
Bam Adebayo: 2 Points on 0-0 shooting, 0-0 from 3. 3 Rebounds. 2 Assists. 0 Steals. 0 Turnovers.
Bobby Portis: 5 Points on 2-2 shooting, 1-1 from 3. 2 Rebounds. 0 Assists. 1 Steal. 1 Turnover. 1 Foul.
Pelle Larsson: 5 Points on 2-2 shooting, 1-1 from 3. 1 Rebound. 0 Assists. 0 Steals. 0 Turnovers. 1 Foul.
Tim Hardaway Jr.: 3 Points on 1-3 shooting, 0-2 from 3. 0 Rebounds. 0 Assists. 0 Steals. 0 Turnovers.
Giannis left a sinking ship for another sinking ship.
shouldve went to boston
Wasnât his call, Bucks liked Heat package more than Celtics
Which is hilarious since even if you combined the players from the Heat package into 1 player, they still arenât better than Jaylen Brown. Plus, the Heat never tank so the picks wouldnât be all that different. People keep mentioning the new lottery odds but thatâs only in effect until 2030 and the Heat picks are all 2031 and beyond
It is curious why yâall essentially chose Paul George and trading Brown to a division rival over GiannisâŠ
Ridiculous post. Bucks had zero use for Brown, theyd be a 30 win team at best with him. And its already proven Brown didnt have much value around the league so routing him to a 3rd team isnt a good option.
How tf is this upvoted lol
I mean part of it was absolutely not putting him in a place to win titles lol
With the new tanking rules, that might be a good thing. If Heat end up 4-10 in the lottery ranking, that gives Bucks the better picks. Boston was always going to be in the playoffs. But JB is a really strong asset they passed up on.
only in effect until 2030
That’s assuming they don’t continue it. I would assume they make some tweaks but I’d be surprised if they completely do away with it.
he got traded genius
He should have went to charlotte. It was a perfect fit
I mean , that the Bucks decision not his
Mans hopped off a sinking ship straight onto the titanic
Well one ship is sinking in Lake Michigan and and Ike in the warm waters of south beach
I have no fucking idea what Giannis was thinking these last 3-4 years.
Stayed loyal when he didn’t need to and then when he finally decided he had enough, joined the worst possible basketball situation other than the Clippers, Nets, Kings, or Pelicans.
Thanks for clarifying that theyâre in last place with their 0 wins
3 games in folks. I hope they fail, but this is like sixers fans booing 20 minutes into thier first home game
It was deserved then, and it’s deserved now
Why don’t the Heat fans just boo their team? It worked for the 76ers.
I don’t think half the people there care about basketball
The Heat lowkey have a lame crowd. For a team as generally successful as they are, you see empty seats a lot. I don’t think their crowd cares enough to boo. They’d rather dip in the 3rd quarter and hit the clubs
It’s a special accomplishment to be worse than the Kings
Iâd laugh, but Iâm a Suns fan
Devin needs some help man, the opener against the Blazers was brutal.
I was stunned weâre somehow not ranked #30.
Hang the banner
Light the beam
It would be crazy if they weren’t.
They didn’t trade for Klay…
I’m sorry y’all but heat GOTTA be the biggest underperformers so far. I understand its only 3 games, and shit I’m only operating off this one game sample size, but I’ve never seen a Spo coached team look as anemic as the Heat did tonight.
Idk if it’s even an underperfomance, their roster is nasty outside of Giannis and Bam
Its Bam, Giannis and Davion as of tonight and thats it. Their roster is fucking bad and I was saying before the season started that they very well might miss the play-in entirely with how deep the east is this year.
I mean we’re missing two of our best players (both ours starting backcourt), blew a 20 point lead and the heat STILL couldnt win. Speaks more to us that we didnt panic but fuck is this a bad look for Miami especially when you factor in that Giannis also fouled out.
Wiggins is only 31, he shouldnât be this ass already
He’s just regressing back to the player he’s been for the vast majority of his career. He had one excellent playoff run
He was always overrated because he has the talent to be a star but the mindset of a role-player and it shows
Heâs been very weird the last few years since that ring. I know heâs had some personal issues but itâs still a bit weird.
He looks lazy again. Sad to see as a Warriors fan who has seen him locked in and roots for him to do that more often. I’ll always enjoy seeing him play well. But he looked totally checked out today and didn’t even close the game. If they’re getting lazy Wigs, he’s a below average starter.
They should tank. The 2027 pick is the last pick they have for a while
If we fall in the lottery we would have 2027 and 2029 pick, 30 is a pick swap with the Bucks so we would still have a frp that year also. 31 and 33 is the year the picks goto the Bucks
Honestly I’m being diplomatic, I’ve been kind of a hater on the idea of Giannis in Miami since the trade lol
I didnt really follow too closely in the offseason, I was shocked yesterday when I saw this is the roster they were rolling with after seeing them pegged as a sure playoff team in the East
I think anyone who doesn’t just view teams as a collection of superstars, but as a real functional team that has to play a team sport had some question marks about the Heat that were downplayed by media hype.
Their roster has been iffy for a while now, even when Jimmy dragged them twice to the finals, it was always viewed as Jimmy, Bam and a bunch of G-League rejects. I would definitely wait a bit more to judge the team though, Knicks and Spurs have also had a very bad start to the season and they were in the finals last year. If the Heat continue like this after December, it’s definitely concerning.
The roster is nasty because of Bam and Giannis.
I think he’s using non slang form here tbf, think he’s saying the rest of the Team is dog shit lol. Unless you’re positing that Bam and Giannis are the problem and I’m the one misunderstanding. Which is a real possibility as I am stupid
The guy youâre replying to is saying the roster is bad because of the assets / cap space spent on Giannis and Bam
Genuinely, I’m looking at Pelle Larsson getting 36 minutes and thinking like, oh I clearly missed something, who’s hurt?
And it’s like, oh no, they’re fucking dog shit.
Teams that are like 11 deep, condensing talent for a superstar can make sense.
Heat…were thin before the trade
Yeah they don’t seem like theyre gonna work together, and the rest of the roster basically provides nothing that can help make them work either
I’ll be honest I don’t know how people were saying that was a play off team while looking at that trash roster. I think this was super obviously coming.
way too early for a victory lap
Why are you guys even giving Bam credit when he hasnât even had one good game yet?
heat fans all offseason were saying we were underestimating the role players. if anything we were overestimating them, i really thought wiggy would be better at least
Itâs an equivalent or even slightly worse version of last yearâs bucks roster that was a lottery team while Giannis was playing. I get you need to take a swing for a big name but Iâll never understand gutting your entire team to do so
And Giannis and Bam arenât even a good pairing as your top 2 in todayâs CBA idk what Miami was smoking.
Itâs the old saying of you canât get a playoff spot early but you can lose it early
There are some Heat fans saying games dont matter till All-Star break. WTF, you can be too far outside the seeds to catch up at that point.
I never understood why anyone thought they’d be good. They have a worse roster than the Bucks did last year with Giannis on it, and him and bam don’t compliment each other at all
Non-ball knowers who think you can just stack big names together and produce wins
to be fair, I don’t think we know how often they compliment each other
but they def don’t complement each other great
Man I had so many people try to shit on me for saying they arenât contenders before the season started. Just having Giannis on the roster does not make you a contender. This team fit and build is horrible. The roster is garbage. This is quite literally Milwaukee 2.0 but instead of the fun championship vibes they skipped straight to the mismanaged roster era.
For me underperformance relates to expected performance, this sub expected this, knicks or spurs are the winners so far but they’ll likely bounce back, there’s no hope for the heat.
I’m a casual NBA fan and I’m surprised anyone thought they would be good. I also bet Wemby MVP so I don’t know much.
Never understood the Bam/Giannis fit
Itâs terrible. An NBA frontcourt that canât shoot in 2026 is not how Iâd build my team, personally.
Thereâs a reason the Bucks paired Giannis with Brook for all those years and Myles Turner last year.
Itâs not the end of the world but if you do it, the rest of the team has gotta be shooting and ideally defending their asses off.
I think the idea was bam improved on his outside shooting and would spread the floor. Could be wrong tho.
Cavs win a lot of games in the regular season and made the ECF last yr with 2 non shooting bigs
But theres also a huge difference between Mitchell/Harden and Davion/Klay as your starting backcourt
I feel like it’s one of those “We have the opportunity to get Giannis, we’re going to take it regardless of the fit.”
Imagine how mad the Heat fans would be if they didn’t take Giannis? They’ve been yelling for a star for years.
Every team that hasn’t been tanking in the last 5 years (or gifted Luka) is facing this dilemma thanks to the second apron. The Nuggets, Suns, Bucks, Celtics, Clippers, Warriors, etc are in a no man’s land where they need a big star, but trading for one won’t push them over the hump yet doing nothing is even worse.
i think this is the situation for every team though. the bucks, lakers, hawks, and jazz are all arguably in this spot too. none of them are winning it all right now, and none have been real contenders in the last 4 years, but they can’t get over that hump without either a big star or some incredible drafting.
the knicks did it without a big star (unless you think KAT is one) and the thunder did it with drafting, but both have shown it’s not easy to put together a team that will get there in the modern nba
How is Lakers in this picture? We need role players, not stars.
It reminds me of the Drummond/Monroe pairing (obviously better talent though) and Klay is Josh Smith jacking up brick after brick
Cmon man I was having a good night.
I was watching their game against you guys and just thought “this team is gross.” The roster construction makes no sense.
Bam can score like 50+ points (he can go up to 80+) and Giannis average like 30+ points as well
Damn, if they do that every game, you could easily get 90 points out of the two of them.
wtf, why haven’t they done that yet, are they stupid?
They need to replace Spo with Doc
Was my second thought after they made the trade, âsurely thereâs another trade and Bam going somewhereâ.
neither do they
If they had just done a giannis for bam swap, instead of giving up a guard and wing, at least the team would make more sense on the floor.
riley just wanted a star
As someone that doesn’t understand trades as much as others I never understand the premise of trading for 1 star at the expense of getting rid of 3 or 4 starter/high end rotation guys
And I thought the Giannis/Dame fit was gonna be bad and turned out bad. This is way worse. Giannis might be the least adaptable superstar ever, there are very few situations/stars he can fit with and heâs fucking lucky he got Middleton as the co-pilot who was actually a perfect fit with him.
They are relying on Davion Mitchell to get hot, it aint gonna happen
He The reason the score got close. He led the charge at the end w 15 in the 4th
He is not playing like that every night is my point, he’s decent, but not that good consistently
If you need Mitchell to bail you out you have problems
Gonna have to look into this but sounds like Mitchell would need to play a Maxey like role. Tall order.
If he was as good as Maxey, they wouldn’t be this ass.
He can be a good role player on a winning team but he shouldn’t be asked to do much more
it’s not that they are just 0 and 3. sure that can happen to good teams trying to find their rhythm.
it’s that they looking fucking terrible and their problems are 100% predictable and self inflicted. like, I seriously don’t understand what they thought would happen with two centers who they need to start and no body else. Kevin Garnet had better teams on the Wolves and those teams were largely ass. the one year he had some help they went to the conference finals.
This is a self inflicted wound and it may fester and rot all season.
As Zoidberg so eloquently stated, “you’re bad and you should feel bad.”
Huge mistake not going to golden state. Heâd only be 0-2 right now. Because of the time zones
not the end of the world ig. Even tho it does really stink, it’s still too early to say things
It’s not too early to say you guys should trade Steph so he’s not sitting on the bench sad most 4th quarters in the twighlight of his career :(
Bamâs 83 translating to 10ppg was probably not on Giannis bingo board
The heat looks like last yr bucks but with bam instead of myles turner
Old Klay Thompson brings bad vibes anywhere he goes
I do want to commend Giannis for having the bravery to leave Milwaukee to go to Milwaukee with better weather.
Typically superstars tend to not go to another garbage team when picking their next destination, but respect to Giannis for choosing the hardest road
this is petty AF and I love it
I know this is an unpopular opinion at the moment, but I still think this team ain’t that bad, several good shooters are having an absurd variance in efficiency, they’ll be better.
Giannis+Bam fit is kinda questionable though.
Giannis Bam fit is the entire issue my man, thatâs why I questioned the trade
If they can’t figure the fit out they could always trade bam for a backcourt shot creator, several teams could use a dpoy candidate.
Not at his salary, then we get into the trading depth for one player problem. And Bamâs fit on a majority of teams would be pretty questionable. Honestly Iâd rather just have a decent traditional center and pay him way less than have Bam
Bam for JB and warriors picks please đ
Bam isn’t a real dpoy candidate
You questioned the trade because you felt the Giannis Bam fit would have the Heat looking like a bottom 3 defense? Because that’s the bigger issue than the offense
Imagine if the ignorant Bill Simmons quote turned out to be true and the Heat couldnt defend anyone this season
In general I didnât like the fit, Giannisâ health, and lack of depth. Yeah I think everyone thought the defense would be better but the problem is on the perimeter where Giannis and Bam arenât affecting as much
Offense is kinda generated 40 ft away from the basket in 2026 - so two rim defenders are eating each otherâs own cakes.
Are the none washed good shooters in the room with us?
Thj was a 6moy candidate for us, and he was good in games jokic missed too.He will not shoot this bad, neither will wiggins or davion.
6th man candidate with checks notes Jokic and Jamal Murray creating space for him.
You don’t just walk on the floor and shoot 40% from three. The team determines what those shots look like. This Heat team creates crisis shots
Man, he has missed some wide wide wide open jumpshots in the first few games, same as Klay, he is very streaky, sometimes he wonât hit anything and other times he hits everything
yeah they all look clunky when giannis and bam is on rhe floor together lmaooo
So you didn’t watch the game
Yeah theyâll be decent. Very good chance it makes them a play-in team if the east truly is as deep as people think, but theyâll win games. The flaws are immediately obvious and Iâm not sure Miami will work out all that much better for Giannis in terms of serious contention.
Tbf this post is talking about standings after 3 games.
Three games in. After 14 years in r/NBA I have learned to ignore the standings for the first 45 games.
It’s basically a mantra for non-karma farming people
Celtics started 0-3 last season. Ended up over 50 wins.
This is just the early season games post equivalent to the LeBron James halftime stats post we had just the other day… People never going to learn
How many times have the magic, bulls, and grizzlies started the season 5,6,7⁄0 since 2012? A shit ton.
Different sport, but the Mets are one of the best pre season and opening day teams in baseball history. There’s a reason we’re all lunatics.
That said, 45 games feels too far in the opposite direction IMO. Writing off almost 55% of the season is kind of nuts now that I’ve done the math lol.
Funny enough right after the NBA Cup hasnt been a horrible indicator and that’s about 30 games in.
I’d say more like 20 games. 45 is a lot. I remember seeing a stat that, after 20 games, most teams are surprisingly close to where they’ll ultimately end up at the end of the season. A few teams will probably rise or flame out late in the season, but most teams show you who they are after 25% of the season and don’t change a whole lot.
They will improve but they won’t be contending for a chip this year. Need more depth but there’s no way to get that for them now that the coffers are empty
The plan was hopefully playoffs maybe somehow go on a run, but next year if when thereâs more flexibility with roster construction.
Tyler Herro: Bum Adebayo over me?
Long season for the heat
The Heat watched the Bucks struggle with Giannis and a bunch of bums and thought “Hey, that could be us!”
Anyone who knows ball knows Bam and Giannis don’t compliment each other. The rest of the roster is mid.
We all knew this team would be trash, did we not?
They were divisive. Some people thought theyâd be shit but others thought theyâd be good, at least defensively
Iâm taking Knicks, Celtics, Sixers, Cavs, Raptors, Pistons, Pacers, Hawks all over the Heat. More talent, more balanced, deeper teams.
That leaves them the same place they always are in, 9⁄10 play in seed
Some people just said theyâd be good to make it seem like LeBron had a gauntlet to go through in the East.
Their floor was not lose to the hornets in 3 quarters
Tons of elite defenders, great coach and an MVP talent was not fated to be trash. Maybe they donât have the offense, but I also wouldnât be surprised if they turn it around
Itâs almost like a new squad has to develop chemistry. But lets just give up after three games ig.
The Reddit karma system just rewards the most cathartic, reactionary stuff. But yeah, we have seen Spo make noise with less talented teams
They have no depth, floor spacing, or shot creation. Not saying they canât turn it around, but youâre really glossing over their weaknesses
Yeah in my opinion like I said, thereâs at minimum 8 teams in the east that are clearly better
They’ve got Giannis and Bam on one level, Wigs and Davion on another, and nobody else.
Their defense wasn’t going to be good either, especially when they can’t run the floor
Theyâve got two elite bigs and thatâs literally it
Yes but some people were pushing the magic of an MVP season Giannis being enough with Spo.
People had, and still have, this team making a run to the second round of the playoffs
We knew they still needed guards bad. I figured they’ll pick some up once they are available.
Heat fans didn’t
No depth and the defense is terrible. Also Bam is a bad second option. Which wouldnât be bad if we had a 3 or 4th, but we traded those possible options to the Bucks alongside picks. Should be an interesting year
2011 heat went like 20-18, 2007 Mavs started 0-4 and finished 67-15.
With such a big roster change, im not shocked theyre still trying to figure things out. The biggest issue now is Bam and Gainnis have yet to figure out how to play with each other on either side of the floor. Reminds me of Herro and Powell and how it looked better when they were on floors on opposite times.
I believe the heat can figure it out with Spo. But I do think it might take some trial and error. Doesn’t help the East just became a lot harder this year but I have faith theyll start to gel by end of year.
A 67 win team starting with 4 losses is crazy. That means they were basically the 96 Bulls the rest of the season.
Called them a play in team and got laughed at. Long season ahead but not surprised.
The haters were right lmfao.
It’s not even just the fact that bam and giannis aren’t score first players. They don’t have scoring fucking anywhere. Bobby Portis can’t shoot, Wiggins can’t shoot, klay would be a 6th man on a competent team, Davion Mitchell is the only one there that can maybe do something but he’s also gotta run the floor it’s a disaster.
They will need to find a trade partner and quickly to get something going. Idk if anyone wants klay portis or Wiggins though?
This was the obvious outcome to anybody that had 2 brain cells. He really should’ve just told Milwaukee to send him to Boston no matter what. Bam and Giannis don’t fit together on offense, they have no shooting/dynamic scoring, and the defense which was supposed to be their calling card looks like shit. It’s all a mess, even if there’s 79 games left it’s still not a good sign longterm. They will have issues scoring in the half court in the playoffs, if they can even make them.
They looked at least mid with Giannis and Klay on the bench playing the old Heat Culture Hustle Ball.
