First team to lose three games in a row this season, with tonight’s loss being especially painful as the Heat worked so hard to come back from a 21-point lead…only to blow it as Grayson Allen made a huge 4-point play to give Charlotte back the lead. Miami never led in the 4th but…well tying for a brief moment is something, I suppose. Doesn’t change the fact they lost to a Hornets team that was on the second night of a back-to-back but I digress.

With their 3rd loss, the Miami Heat share the same win percentage as Giannis’ former team, the Milwaukee Bucks who sit at 0-2.

Giannis really left the Bucks to play for “The Bucks, but it’s warm in December and January.”

I’m not lying. I’ve been to Florida exactly 3 times in my life. I imagine Hell itself would be nicer in every aspect. If I was granted power over the American government to make one decision no matter what it was I’d choose to wall off the state like it existed in a Zombie movie.

We are absolute cheeks. Why Spo chooses to use drop coverage is beyond me. We are getting absolutely flombayed flambé’d by shooters.

I knew our offense would take time to click, but our defense which is supposed to be our hallmark has been DOGSHIT.

Giving up 66 points in a half to a Kon-less Charlotte team is inexcusable. Good lord.

If they don’t turn this around, and Giannis doesn’t sign an extension by the deadline, you have to trade him right?

Super early overreaction but I think this team will have moments when they look like absolute contenders and other moments like this one in which they have no spacing and get fucking cooked. And with the east as competitive as it is rn, there is a genuine chance that inconsistency is gonna cost them a play in spot

I genuinely don’t understand why Giannis chose Miami? This team has no chance at a championship, let alone an ECF… Knicks, Philly, Raps, Celtics, all would have been better.

Ozkuro | MIL

25 | 8 hours ago

He gave a list of teams, Miami offered the most. Where is this idea that he specifically chose Miami coming from lol. According to Shams he listed the Celtics, Wolves, and Miami as his preferred destinations where he could extend his contract that was all.

YourWorstNightmare9

2 | 8 hours ago

If he wanted to stay in the East so badly then the Celtics would’ve made a lot more sense from a winning perspective. It also would‘ve prevented the Sixers from getting Jaylen Brown too.

It was still up to the Bucks to execute the trade and Miami offered more than Boston

A_sandlerGOAT

2 | 8 hours ago

Why do I feel like I’m the only one who followed this trade saga? I guess yall were to busy crying on every post about it taking so long instead of actually paying attention.

It’s clear he wanted the Knicks before they won, then it was pretty clear he wanted Boston and when that deal fell through he really had no other place to go where a team actually had assets except maybe Portland.

Not saying he was against Miami but I think it’s clear that was not his first choice.
