Hi everyone, we got some wall hangings today and I was wondering how it would be best to fix them to the wall? I have plasterboard walls if that makes a difference. I was thinking of fixing a wooden strip to the wall, fixing it to the studs, and then stapling the hanging to the wooden strip.

Any advice would be great

What do you mean by “wall.hangings”? How heavy are they?

It’s like a printed sheet not heavy at all no heavier that a bath towel

They make hangers for paintings. The nail goes in at 45 degrees-ish and regular drywall is typically enough to support it.

I can’t seem to post a picture, but to hang a smallish decorative rug on the wall I got special clips online. They’re screwed into a standard plastic drywall anchor.

You should be able to find them by searching for “quilt wall clips”. There seem to be a few different kinds…
