How did you make the bacon wavy
Start with two identical blocks of different wood species. Temporary glue or tape them together, I used a little hot glue here. Band saw cut through the stacked block. Then pull apart and inverse and glue back up. I made these thick so I could put them on the side and carve/saw away and make them bacony wavy. Look up drunken cutting board for videos. You can see the 2 pairs of inverse blocks in the in progress pic.

The drunken cutting board technique is such a clever adaptation for this. Most people stop at the cutting board stage, but carving it down to get that wavy bacon texture takes it to another level. Really smart use of the technique.
That’s something that years from now someone will wonder: “What the hell is that?”
I can only hope we still understand the concept of a bacon egg and cheese in 20 years. Only thing keeping me going.
