The last two years, he and his wife Gaga have donated money to children’s hospitals based off of the numbers of assists the Raptors have had per season. \(42k in 2024 and \)79k in 2025. Hospitals include Toronto Sick Kids, St Jude in Memphis and Tiršova Children’s Clinic in Belgrade. Obviously I’m happy he’s got the team playing well but it’s also nice that he’s a really decent human being

Nick was a good coach, but I can’t lie I always thought it was funny when things were going bad and he’d be crouched and rubbing his wedding ring like a guy going through a divorce.
He’ll always have a fan in me and we’ll be forever grateful he was the HC in 2019, but man, going through a few bum years with your HC showing off his own merch and hats after a bad loss in the post-game was depressing.
No clue if he’s still doing that in Philly, but it probably makes sense this season actually with all the media attention lol

He’s a good coach, but not incredible and if it wasn’t from Warriors’ injuries then Raps don’t win that championship. Luck has everything to do with that, I’m glad they got lucky also. But even though Nurse showed to be better-than-average, I can’t deny that, he is very overrated: about as much playoff series wins than disqualified seasons

He’s a very inventive coach who makes fantastic adjustments. He was fired because he lost the locker room. That can happen to almost any coach.

And our coach before that was well liked by the players but refused to make adjustments.
And also led the Raptors to the most success they’d had in franchise history up to that point.
Ultimately, different coaches can accomplish different things for a team and be the right person for different stages of development.

Appreciate him endlessly but he was such a grating dude in that last season. I can appreciate that he is a killer & wants to win at all costs but he wasn’t helping with the locker room dynamics at all.
Glad he was our coach though & what we achieved as a franchise with him at the helm but also very happy to have Darko.
