Backwards faucet issues
I replaced the cartridges in the bathroom sink and this happened. They don’t drip anymore but the hot and cold turn on and off in different directions.
I don’t get it.
The on/off direction convention depends on the handle type. You need to make sure that the cartridge type matches the direction you want.
Ah, I had same problem in my old apartment. Took me two days to figure out I put the cartridges in wrong way around. Like I just rotated them 180 degrees and suddenly everything works like normal again.
