Philly is not expected to be a good 3pt shooting team. Its more a shot if someone is wide open or to try and open up the driving lanes.
They aren’t but they’ve also been much worse in the first 2 games than they should be regardless.
Yeah we are shooting under 30% through 2 games, well under nba average. We will not be an elite 3% team but even shooting 35-36% will be a massive improvement and will mean we will be holding 10+ point leads against lots of teams.
We dont have one kyle korver level guy although just about every person on the roster could be classified as a good 3 point shooter. I think we will do fine.
Well Maxey is legitimately one of the best three point shooters in the league. He shoots about 38% for his career and shot 43% for a couple seasons before his usage skyrocketed and he started shooting more off the dribble threes. Now he takes about eight threes a game so his efficiency has gone down, but that’s more valuable than shooting 43% but only shooting five of them.
Anfernee Simons is a great three point shooters who gets a ton of threes up, even from the bench.
I think people saying we have bad 3 point shooting are totally off base. Every single guy we have you need to respect and guard at the 3 point line. When I think of a bad 3 point shooting team, the 1 team in the league who’s PF and center both have had 40% 3 point shooting season doesnt come to mind.

The colors can be corrected on broadcast. I was watching on desktop and I turned on night light on Windows and it colors/WB was fixed (almost). ESPN has just gone downhill. NBC better

frankly they probably won’t be a great 3pt shooting team in general. not really their personnel. but they’ll be better than they have been so far and will probably be okay at shooting just with all the attention they’ll draw into the paint. no reason for them to shoot many contested threes this year.

The experience LeBron & Jaylen have brought to the Sixers is immeasurable. The respect these players have for them has removed all of their egos. They shut up, listen and follow instructions. I was courtside for this game and no one felt like it was going to be a blowout loss even down by 29. Everyone, including the players knew the Sixers would come out dominating the 2nd half and get the W
