You think he’ll play tomorrow/embiid sits tomorrow?

For reference, LeBron only played 6 back to back games last season with the Lakers and started the season with the classic sciatica / arthritis combo.

It’s the Bucks too so might as well just rest him.

He didn’t even really with the Lakers either

At this stage of his career, expecting him to play consecutive nights at 40+ is wishful thinking. Sitting the front end of back-to-backs is going to be standard procedure all year.

Bro’s only getting paid $4 million this year. He’s going to play the proportional amount of games

What about side to side games? Tsss.

I have had it everywhere from my glute down into my foot. It’s a devastating thing. 3 years off and on.

3 bulging discs, a herniated disc and sciatica here. Shit is wack.

I have it too, funny enough it happened in a pick up game. Nothing crazy happened my back started to hurt so i sat down and then after sitting for like 10 minutes I couldn’t like stand up. The next day I had to carry 3 suitcases to the airport by myself as I was moving across the country and that was already super difficult for me. I’ll never forget how uncomforable I was sitting on the plane for 5 hours.

When I got to my new home I think I was like nearly bed ridden for 2 days until it felt okay to walk. Went to a doctor they said “something bulged disc, dont worry too much but its sciatica” and referred me to a PT, surgery was not a good option at the time.

PT made it a bit better but every now and then for the past 4 years I have a flair up and it is fucking insane. First for a week the back pain is wild and its so hard to even function. that wears off and then its a consistent shooting pain from the right of my ass all the way down my toe and I just have to deal with it for a month. Then it suddenly goes away when I wake up completely normal on some random day

I do no injections but every day in the morning I do my stretches PT taught me

Sciatica and the Spinal Cord in general is fucking wild

It sucks so hard. I thought I had a glute strain that wouldn’t go away

Its a bitch to have

i started expiriencing it and it sucks and can be shit in everyday life

I had it from poor deadlifting form when I was like 19 for around 7 months. Thank God it completely healed and hasn’t bothered me since.. but still 7 months was a long time compared to any other injury I’ve had.

lol same bro

Same. Am 25. Idk why.

Same. My ex had it and would complain about it during sex sometimes and it frustrated the hell out of me. Now im going through it. Be kind folks.

Literally just he worst pain I’ve ever experienced. Couldn’t sit down for months

Strengthen your back muscles and loosen your upper leg muscles. That’s the trick.

Sciatica made me dramatically drop to the floor in pain so often it became a joke to my family

it started in my teenage years. freaking hard to move when it flares up

Same age as LeBron, and dude, same thing got me f***’d up. Father Sciatica wins errytime!

Lmao, I’m 40 and have had sciatica off and on since I was 19. Had a herniated disc that was corrected with surgery and now have a degenerative disc. It’s just part of life 🥲

It could be a kidney stone too. Sciatica can be misdiagnosed as one because the back pain can be extremely similar. Prayers up for LeBron if it’s one of those lol.

DNP: Bucks suck

That was 6 years ago. This is DNP: old AF.

DNP: slept weird and woke up with a tight back

DNP: Helicopter seat has bad lumbar support

Al Horford the OKC legend

from too much picking up embid from the floor, was gassed by the second quarter

DNP: Don’t Need Playing (against the #15 seed Bucks)

Sciatica isn’t really just being old, when you’re that tall it’s fairly common. My friend is also 6’9(nice) and he’s had it since his mid 20’s and went undiagnosed for awhile cause he thought it was just his usual suffering at first.

Fuck man if LeBron can’t control his sciatica what hope do I have?

The Tim Duncan special, classic

DNP - helicopter getting an oil change

Dude…. its the bucks…. Joel doesn’t do back to backs … DJ Dybantsa as the number 1 draft pick at 19 has played less games than LeBron this year… stfu

Old AF sounds better

DNP: Ass

LeDucks the Bucks

Hasn’t played MKE in MKE since like 2010

That one game in 2020 was fucking awesome tho

He ducks the Bucks

I think it was Tim Duncan right around when he retired that got a DNP: Old, funny as fuck at the time. Could do the same here tbh

Crazy you even ‘have to get away with it’ teams name a roster at the start of a season they should be allowed to use it in any which way they wish.

They can, i believe nba themselves made a rule about dnp regarding that. Its mostly for really old players, recently implemented cant remember the name.

Edit: its PPP, introduced in 2024. For player 35+ with more than 1k+ games, more than 34k in minutes.

I think LeBron is apart of the Load Management Exemption rules so they can just DNP him for rest with no worries

Everything fuckin’ hurts, page 3 on the list of valid diagnoses

after the mess with jalen hurts and the eagles, I don’t want medical staff getting away with anything 😤 tell us exactly what’s happening

I mean that is what they are doing

Not if they don’t want to get fined but as someone who’s played the most minutes in NBA history by far I think just “load management” should suffice. He’s more than earned it.

They don’t have to announce anything. They can just not play him if they wanted.

if not, they need to add unc exceptions

DNP sciatica is pretty legit. It is akin to DNP chronic injury

No he needs to retire

popp got away with DNP - Old so many times i feel like they just need to allow it to happen.

Lmfao no

Happy birthday!

I used to think players were wimps when they got injured so much.

I just turned 33 and I can’t fucking imagine playing 82+ basketball games a year

Happy birthday!

Happy bday big bro

happy birthday!!🥳

hbd!

Hbd.

1988 stand up

Happy 38 years! A lot of people never make it to that age.

hap birth

Happy b-day. I turned 38 today aswell. If you are rich as fuck, is it possible you are my long lost twin?

Happy birthday pal

Happy birthday!🥳

You would’ve entered your 3rd prime at that age!

Hello birthday twin! Checking in at 36 years old.

I sneezed and fucked up my elbow. Doesn’t make any sense.

happy bday

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday man

Can’t believe cartis strongest soldier supports the same NBA team as me

oh shit i didnt even clock his username

How it feels to find subject outside of the Carti sub

Bro i didnt even notice, he really is the king of reddit

Embiid said in his post game interview he doesn’t plan on playing both, so assuming he’s skipping pistons.

I’d rather have Embiid for the Pistons game but I get it if they wanna stifle the sitting between Bron and Embiid

Yup more than Likely

Starters will probably be on the court for like twenty minutes anyway. Let the man rest.

no, he’s aging

A Canadian picking Bron as the GOAT after what he did to Toronto lol

Be grateful the league is turning a blind eye to testosterone replacement - he would’ve been done 4 years ago otherwise. Everything past 2022 is an overtime period for his career.

LeOsteophytes

I was gonna say they got to worry about the Pistons tomorrow but we got Duren and Ausar both out 😫

Don’t run

Lebron’s honestly washed at this point, wouldn’t worry about him tbh

I can barely sit with this issue

Well, it is the first game of a B2B, I don’t think they needed to make this agreement for him to sign lmao, its just common sense

Can’t believe you managed to figure this out on your own

He missed 10+ games in a row last season with this exact injury. Stop coping

they can just say “rest” for lebron, he’s exempt from the load management rules due to his age

sciatica is a real thing

@kingjames hit this guy up!

there’s one where i lay on my back and lift the painful leg up and hold it for like a minute. i also sleep on the floor and also hope that someone will rip that painful leg off.

Anything core related, the big 3 back exercises especially. If you google that it’ll come up.

And lacrosse ball your hips, tight hips more often than not make your sciatica much worse.

Treat your own back by robin mckenzie. Short read. Had sciatica/pinched nerve. Doc said maybe surgery, I said no thanks. Followed exercises in that book for a few months and the pain went away.

Pregabalin is the only thing I’ve found that reliably works

Deep tissue massages saved my livelihood after I got sciatica from over work.

If you’ve been in constant pain for more then 5 months then surgery. Typically nerve and disc pain resolved with PT in that time frame. After that youre risking longer term nerve issue.

idk if you’re serious but i always had good experience using a tenz unit on the outside of my calf. it hits the nerve just right and relieves the pain so quickly

Open book stretch, bird dog, tons of them online

Reverse hyper extension machine with light but high reps.

Can you give me the name of the exercise? I have one in my lower back

Do this PT video everyday and stretch. This video has helped countless people (including me):

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4BOTvaRaDjI&ra=m

I saw Stephen Baldwin elbow drop Pauly Shore’s neck to help with his sciatica in a scene from Bio-Dome. Maybe that’ll work?

Low back ability

Back extensions

What’s the exercise?

Here were you when we had Ben

Michael’s Secret Stuff

glute bridge is good

Draymond might know

Twerk bussy. Expeditiously

A lacrosse or tennis ball can do magic

Did you tell LeBron?

no specific exercise will save you. Focus on deep core strength, hip mobility, and hamstring flexibility

Weight training bro

Pls

Strengthen your glutes / deadlifts/core exercises
