I always wonder how good he’ll be. He’s younger than the majority of the 2026 draft class and if you believe in age adjusted growth, he essentially is still a rookie learning the game so he has more time. I’m assuming defense will be his calling card if he ever were to find a spot since he has a huge standing reach and moves decently well for his height.
His defensive potential is absolutely elite. He grew to almost 7 feet over the offseason, but is picking up guards full court.
He definitely needs to work on his 3 ball, but he’s a good cutter on offense and in transition, and the thing that’s surprised me the most about him is his connective passing. Makes good quick decisions with the ball.
Idk what he’s going to look like as a player in a few years. Going into the season I thought his best case scenario would be if he grew a bit more and turned into a Chet like big man (who would hopefully be able to put on a bit more weight than Chet) But now, damn idk. A 7 foot point of attack defender that’s also elite on help defense could be game breaking. The only downside is that fit issues come into play with Caleb, Matas, and Miller all looking like promising young 3/4s, though Miller’s more of a 4⁄5.
