I was killing some time before I went to a brewers cardinals game in St. Louis this year and went to the St. Louis military museum. I stumbled upon a group of disabled veterans getting a private tour and was listening in. The docent went to a weapon rack and asked if they recognized any of the weapons displayed. One of the oldest guys in the group piped up “M1, I remember using that” and while he’s talking I look up “when was the M1 used”. WW2.

This might sound weird but I had a huge grin on my face after that, was just thinking to myself “hell yeah buddy”. I thought it was a cool moment to chance upon. Then I saw miz go 7 with like 12 Ks. Great day all around.
