Been thinking about moving to an Azeron Keyzen or Cyborg for some time. My current keyboard is great, Dygma Raise 2, but I’m a lefty so I’m always needing to move EVERYTHING to that side of the board and the keys aren’t in a great spot for reaching. Its serviceabile and I’ve been using it for nearly two years but feel like I need something different because navigating with many buttons gets rough.

I’ve been looking at keypads for some time and this seems to be the only one that has a lefty version thats worth a damn.

I use one (right handed though), it’s great. I got one originally for WoW, the main driver being able to wasd with just my thumb and then having all my other fingers free all the time, and it’s extremely effective at that. I have had it for about 5 years now and love it. The same benefit is nice in wasd arpgs.

To be clear I still exclusively use it over my keyboard for basically any game after all this time, it wasn’t just a novelty.

Having said that, it does take a bit of getting used to, like a month or two. Different form factor, the clicky mouse buttons instead of keys, etc. The other down side is you have to do a bit more set up with each new game than you would with kbm, they don’t always map the same. If you’re already burdened with that it may not be an additional hassle I guess.

The burn is flipping keys over to the opposite side of a keyboard. On these though, those keys already exist just need mapped which is less work since there’s more constants.

I don’t play many other games that aren’t ARPGs these days though. Somedays I do RTS or games like Dyson Sphere or Enshrouded with a super rare time playing Valheim or anything else. Mainly its POE2, POE, LE, Grim Dawn, TQ2, and Enshrouded. Those last 3 not being often.

Games do have more quirks than you think, for example dragonwilds for whatever reason specifically won’t let you remap R (or some similar key). It’s not a deal breaker though, just something to keep in mind.

I own a keyzen after coming from a Logitech G13, then to a razor. Razor died in 6 months in my he thumb pad. Keyzen after setup is a dream. I totally recommend to everyone

I have one and try to use it for any game I try. For poe2, it hurt my thumb a lot so stopped using it. It is generally great though. I mostly use it for MMO’s now.

I’ve used one on every game I play for years. Love it. The downside for every new game is you have remap all the keys but to me its absolutely worth it.

Your using your hand in way you haven’t normally, expect some fatigue and learning curve. Also might take a while to establish what keymappings on the device fit your play style better.

Especially if you use the mount that angles it, the azeron is far more comfortable than using a keyboard. Adjusting the keys you can fit it to your resting hand so it just fits perfectly.

Anyone use the Azeron Keypads?
