Pacers defense was bad, but they also shot 22 percent from three and missed wide open shots consistently. Everything was bad all around. Hope it is just first couple games stuff because a lot of our new guys did not look like good fits tonight.

This one was sweet, they took Cooper out on some BS, Kyrie fouled out and we still found a way to win. Some great young players on this team

No-Luck4052

Lmao yea Nesmith definitely tried on purpose to hurt Flagg by playing the ball going for the block. “We still found a way to win” just shows how delusional you are. Yall were up for most of the game.

Diciestaking | DAL

5 | a day ago

They were down 35 when he made that play. I get that you can go for anything you want, but hacking a player mid dunk from behind is a classic dirty play and this is one of the first times ive seen people defend it like this. I dont think he was trying to hurt coop but he obviously was trying to stop the play.

Here’s your Mavs Post Game Summary. Finishing our 10th season

Did the Mavs Win? ✅ Almost blew the 30+ lead after losing Coop

Did Cooper get his points? 🏳️ ❌ Started off strong with 14/5/6 in the first half only to get injured in the last minute and be done for the game and apparently getting deleted according to OP

Kai with 24pts despite the minutes restriction and foul trouble 🤞🪬

PJ with ²⁰⁄₁₃ & 3 Blocks 🔟🔟✋✋✋

Max with 16/4/4 💦👌

Naji with 15/4/6/3 off the bench 🔪💺

Zach with ¹¹⁄₆ & 3 Blocks 🇫🇷✋✋✋

MoJo with ⁸⁄₆ off the bench 👍

Back to Back tomorrow against the Spurs. No clue if Coop plays 🤠⚙️🇫🇷

StefonDiggsHS | DAL

53 | a day ago

Nesmith gonna need multiple bodyguards next time he comes to DFW lmfao

anyways Pacers need to figure out this word ‘defense’ because um yikes

Zubac looks like a fish out of water, 0 chemistry with haliburton, lost on the defensive side of the ball as he was constantly out of position

Flagg was competely dominant until Nesmith hacked him airborne. Flagg is going to be an absolute superstar and I just pray that Nesmiths reckless foul didnt hurt Flagg too much, Flagg is the truth.

On the mavs side, even taking away the shooting % this was the most cohesive I’ve seen this unit since luka. Everyone looked like they knew their role

Much better showing from the mavs tonight defensively, though it helps that this Pacers team looks like ass.

Guitarmonade2 | IND

21 | a day ago

In a vacuum, we were absolute ass tonight. If that was someone’s first watch of the Pacers, it would be completely indefensible and embarrassing to try to stand by as a fan.

There’s no way the game gets as “close” as it got by the end if Flagg didn’t get hurt. Best wishes that he doesn’t have stay sidelined.

ToTimesTwoisToo | IND

Ugly ass game from the Pacers and Flagg getting hurt is a bummer. Hoping they were just being cautious and not putting him back in

thecakeslayer | IND

Yalls shooting was on fire tonight. That was crazy to see. Almost felt like you couldn’t miss.

the defense doesn’t look great right now, but I hope that’ll come with time, like Ty’s conditioning.

Good win tonight

onegoodboah

9 | a day ago

Why are people pretending that nesmith foul was dirty in any way lol. It was an awkward fall & slide into the camera but it was as tame a basketball play as there is

Sucks he got hurt & hope he is fine but it’s crazy that anybody is acting like it was dirty or something for daring to attempt a block

EDIT: I mean this kinda says it all https://i.imgur.com/XGW3InN.jpeg the reaction and anger is simply because he landed awkwardly but it was a good block attempt pretty obviously, right?

Blutrumpeter | SEA

9 | a day ago

I think it’s the windup and everything beforehand on a breakaway play down 30 when he never really had a chance at making a play. We teach against this at such a young level

AustinInDallasTx | DAL

4 | a day ago

Such a garbage unnecessary play. Dude was butthurt coop was about to dunk on em

onegoodboah

AustinInDallasTx | DAL

0 | a day ago

Oh brother. lol

Diciestaking | DAL

3 | a day ago

When did hacking players mid dunk from behind become a normalized play. He obviously wasn’t trying to hurt him, but even in the picture you sent he was like half a foot off and clearly was never getting the ball. Just because you are “trying” to make a play doesnt just hand wave all contact. Its always a dirty play to go for that regardless of if he meant to hurt him.

onegoodboah

0 | a day ago

The idea that you aren’t allowed to try to block someone mid air is actually hilarious. I know you know it wasn’t “hacking players mid dunk from behind”, please be for real.

If he managed to get the few inches closer to land a clean block, does your take change? I imagine it does, in which case, that’s entirely the point. He didn’t push the player or get in his landing space. He went for a block, was off by a few inches (as even you admit), hit I’m in the wrist as a resukt, and he landed awkardly and slid into the caneramen. That obviously doesn’t make it dirty which I know you know, angry red-vision aside.

Diciestaking | DAL

2 | a day ago

Did he or did he not get a flagrant for this play based on unnecessary wind up? I never said players cant go up for blocks but he hacked him on purpose from behind with wind up very obviously. If this was a common foul I would have just said he went for a block and missed. Like at least attempt to use context man lol.

rascaltippinglmao | NBA

1 | 21 hours ago

He didn’t actually go for a block lol he knew his only chance was to foul him

bareslut64

1 | 19 hours ago

Windup, which means intentional and a shot to head. It was dirty.

onegoodboah

1 | 18 hours ago

That’s not what wind-up means lmao, never has. It just means it was a needlessly hard foul. Which is also what the flagrant 1 means. If it was dirty or unnecessary or unsafe it would’ve been a flagrant 2.

Nobody is arguing that this wasn’t a hard foul, but that’s all it was, and that’s literally how it was called upon review.

juanhalohalo | DAL

10 | a day ago

Hell yeah. Great game from everyone. Hope Flagg is fine, he was on pace for a triple double.

Zac looks promising. If he can hit his shot he’ll be a great player. He hustles and plays good defense.

Sasser looked great. An upgraded BWill.

The vets looked good too. PJ/Gafford/Naji/ all had moments.

Feels good to see them bounce back after a really bad opener.
