Kawhi Leonard’s 20+ point active scoring streak leader ends less than 24 hours after SGA’s

Kawhi finished tonight with 16/8/1 with 3 steals and 4 turnovers on ⁷⁄₁₉ shooting (²⁄₈ from 3) in 27:41. He had scored 20+ points in his previous 58 games. Devin Booker is now the active leader with 10 straight games of 20+ points.

Going from the leader being at 141, down to 58, & then down to 10 is hilarious

And booker is a player who is known for his inconsistent scoring so that will drop pretty soon.

He’s the kinda player who will get 18 1 night 30 the next and since his injury in the nuggets series he’s been slower and worse at scoring so yeah that is dipping soon

Booker has seemingly lost a step, but he’s also used much differently now. He was looking to playmake most of last season when he’s much better as a straight offensive threat.

What is with these teams not giving their elite Shooting guard true point guards to help them?

With Booker’s case, I honestly don’t know how much is the team and how much is him wanting to be that type of player. Book is honestly pretty good in the role of distributer, but his counting stats suffer so box score watchers just think he fell off a cliff. That said, his indisputable best years have been with a true point guard like Chris Paul and Rubio , so most people wish year after year that we pick up a true point guard (or start Colin Gillespie in that role).

When did Luka last score under 20?

Could have sworn he would have had it now.

His 20+ point streak is currently 1. He scored 12 points in the last game he played last season.

He scored 12 in his final game of last season due to his injury. What’s crazy is he was on his own 12 game streak of 30+ points, including a 60 and 50 bomb

He scored under 20 4 times last season. Last was against OKC in April when he got injured. He had 12pts in 25 minutes.
