Don’t show Bill Simmons this
Ive seen enough hes better than Jaylen Brown
Celtics and Spurs will be neck and neck again for the best bench in the league this season.
There’s going to come a point in the near future where you can’t really justify Hugo off the bench anymore. Dude is just too good and complete of a player, always making good thing happen.
Not sure it happens this year but I think he’s going to be a starter in Boston for a very long time.
I think Hugo will be a good two player but he’s only 20. As long as he gets playing time is all that matters.
The Celtics have like 8 guys who could start. It’s actually a debate whether Payton Pritchard(50 games started last season at 17⁄5 a night) should come off the bench or start.
1000%, people are sleeping on how incredible their bench is going to be
Tarris Reed Jr was awesome last night, Ja’kobi Gillespie is a pretty underrated pick as well
And the 76ers bench is bad. Rockets bench poor as well.
Scoot, Jrue, Shaedon, Timelord is better
Last season Celtics had the #2 bench Net Rating with 6.4, 0.1 behind the Spurs. Blazers were #20 with a -5.5 NetRTG.
Hell of a mountain to climb lol.
how does one have over 100% TS%?
The highest possible TS% is 150%
Actually is technically possible to hit a 250% ts% due to the existance of 4 point plays + extra fts from flagrant fouls
Go 1 for 1 and it’s a three. For example.
100% ts means 2 points per shot/field goal attempt/trip to the line
Is supposed to be like fg% but adjusting to account to 3’s and free throws
A guy who goes 5⁄5 from 3 will be 150% ts if he does nothingh else, if he also hits a ft for being fouled in one of the shots he would be 160% ts
A guy who takes a single shot and is a 4 point play could hit a 200% ts%
not quite because the formula weights a fta by 0.44 (0.88 after the 2x multiplier). so the maximum is 150%. taking a free throw lowers the true shooting percentage and actually takes it to 147%
That is the bballref formula which is an approximation that doesnt need to track where the fts came from
But there is also ts% that uses just exact points/true shot attempts which is what starmuse or dunks and trees use which makes it more accurate than bballref aproximation formula
3 counts more for TS than twos so if you only take and make 3 you would have over 100% TS
Well, Celtics were right, he was better than JB
Looks like a squirrel has taken up residence on his head
Love his lil floof
This made me laugh idk why ppl r hating
I’m glad someone thought it was funny - it’s nice fluffy tail covering his forehead
