To be fair, he took that Portland team to the conference finals in 2019 with a pretty thin roster. Still, talking about rings is a risky game when you haven’t won one yet.

Also it was DEN just a couple years before they won it all, on the road in a game 7 at elevation, you’re not going to find a more difficult environment to play in than that. Coming out of that with a dub is impressive no matter how bad of a shooting night you had.
