Jason Terry goes HAM - 2011 NBA Finals
his 3 over LeBron in game 5 was the greatest NONONONONOYES shot of all time lol
Idk man Jason Terry going right? Bucket
It’s not that I didn’t trust him per se, it was just Dirk was absolutely cooking and he was actually asking for the ball and Terry kind of looked him off and was just like nah man
Unstoppable!
I thought Rich Paul and co had this scrubbed off the internet?
Put some bands on your head like Jason Terry 🥶
Man do these clips show how much more sophisticated NBA defenses have gotten. Terry is doing one crossover dribble and getting straight to the rim on these drives, sometimes without even a pick. When he kicks out, the three ball is wide open without even an attempted close-out.
And this was one of the best coached, most talented defensive teams of the era!
they were not some great defense though?? lol, they were barely top 5 at their peak
you see these exact type of plays all the time meow… people have been parroting this same line for decades, and it never really makes sense lol. offenses have largely been simplifying since the freedom of movement era
Defenses are 100% more complex than they were 10-15 years ago out of necessity.
Also idk man offenses are also more complex it’s just harder to see if you don’t know what to look for. Look at a pick and roll from 2026, 2016 and 2006.
i’ve been a player/coach/scout for years…. lol, how are they more complex?? offenses generally have less movement and complexity, and defenses have reflected that trend as well
what about pick and rolls? break it down for me, how are defenses handling it in a more complex way when we still teach the same 3-4 strategies to handle picks that we did 40+ years ago?? Nash’s 2006 pick and roll isn’t handled any different than Luka’s today….. like?
i really would love you to help explain this to me. this statement is sent out all the time but I never see any actual material backing it up, it feels like a silly meme at this point
