wasn’t his 3ball questionable when he got drafted?
He spent the entire spring and summer shooting after recovering from his injury. This is why everyone loves him, he loves proving everyone wrong.
WILSON IS THE TRUTH
Caleb already answered this, said he could shoot it in college but didn’t do so cuz coach didnt need him to
Yes, he’s been inconsistent with it but i think it’s just repetition. He’s looking nice.
He was cold, missed a 3, got the pass off the oReb and instead of shooting another he drove for the dunk attempt. He got fouled, split the FTs but after that he outscored the Grizz in the 3rd quarter.
Dude just needed something to go down to get his shot going.
Ya. I am not 100% sure he wouldn’t go top 2 in a redraft. Offensively he is so much better than expected.
Still though, 5 seasons from being able to make an educated redraft opinion that won’t age badly in some spots.
I love hearing this!
It was, but struggles to hit free throws, so I don’t know about how consistent his three-point shot is going to be.
If you include the 4 summer league games and these two preseason ones, he’s 18⁄46 from 3 which is 39% at 7+ attempts per.
If you include the four summer league games, he also shot around 30% from free throw line in summer league and went 2⁄6 from the free throw line today without a good free throw percentage, no one in the NBA is going to shoot well from three consistently, at least. After the first game in Summer League, where he went 7⁄11 he went 6⁄20 in his next 3 Summer League games from 3. In his first preseason, he was 0/4 from 3.
If you include the 4 summer league games and these two preseason ones,
So we’re only like 100 more games from his percentages normalizing. People really have no idea how big a sample size you need
edit:
Around 750 attempts

Any big 4 with defensive versatility that can hit 36% or better from 3 is a very nice asset to have.
Its rather limited the number of good defenders 6’9” or taller with a good or great 3pt shot. There will also be less pressure for him to bulk up and play center most of the time if he is sound from 3.
Yeah it’s genuinely ridiculous how good and fluid of a shooter he looks based on where he started from in college
He’s legit gonna be an mvp caliber player now, not even debatable, that’s all that was missing
yea this rookie draft class is going to be insane
Im so excited to see this years ROY battle, I cant wait!
I’d be so psyched if my team drafted this dude.
thats my goat…yeah the bulls are gonna be fun this year
Still can’t believe the blazers were like yeah, we saw you step up after big shot CB had to deal with his legal case. You did a stellar job at the helm but we’re moving on to other options. Honestly loving him as coach in the league
not the blazers, just tom dundon. the mf has the shidas touch
I hope he doesn’t make headlines again for the wrong reasons
What a huge fumble by their FO. He has turned out to be a really great coach and Portland was like “nah. We’re good.” I can’t understand it at all, even if the owner is a cheap asshole. Wouldn’t more wins = more money??
Yeah, that one made me super pissed off and I ain’t even a fan of the team like that. I really enjoyed watching how they found their stride as a unit and suprised a lot of people last year. Didn’t know Camara was like that until I watched games. But you’re right, if his objective was to make money, you’re gone have to spend a lil something somewhere to help generate more
very nice by wilson. i cant get over that off-ball shove by 13 at the start of the clip though lol
Wilson’s gonna be absolutely amazing man, just look at this
T-Mac
pls no
I see ROY in his future
