Box Score

I will keep saying this. This rookie has super high upsides and should be paid more attention to in the upcoming season. De Larrea clearly has a high feel for the game with great court vision and passing ability. He has the potential to be a real threat on the offensive end in the league if he can create his own shots more consistently.

I’m really excited to see what he can develop into. His defense is still a bit suspect to me, but I’m not too worried about it given his size and offensive talent, especially when it comes to passing.

the ³⁄₃ from deep is encouraging, but the 6 assists in 24 minutes are what stand out to me. shooting can fluctuate, while court vision and decision-making are harder to teach. the 4 turnovers show there’s still room to grow, and improving his shot creation and defense will determine how high his ceiling really is. definitely a prospect worth keeping an eye on, though consistency will matter more than one promising box score

Totally agree. I’ve been super high on this guy after seeing those 26 assists in his last two games in the Summer League. The variety of of his passes and the way he was able to dish them out is on another level. He needs to be whole lot more consistent when creating his shots though if he wants to be a real threat.

I was watching in the 1st half and he’s seemed pretty decent. Has a lot of the classic rookie traits of moving too fast, suspect defense, etc but decent handles, decent vision, pretty good shot form. I like him.

Honestly, 6 assists in just 24 minutes is pretty impressive for a rookie! The ³⁄₃ from deep is a nice bonus too. Sure, he needs to work on those turnovers, but his court vision looks really promising. Definitely a young player worth watching this season!
