Jaylen Brown Breaks The Stick When He Hears An Athlete Better Than Him
Wish they mentioned Jayson Tatum
cowards
Brown is pretty clearly the better athlete even if he’s way worse at basketball lol
Way worse is crazy like you’re entitled to your opinions but JB won the ECF and finals mvp the year they won like clearly they’re close
He said that shit for engagement lmao
You’re so right, I should be moved by awards voted on by a panel of 7 people over a 9 game sample size.
That’s definitely more accurate than the 750+ game sample size of one player being better their entire careers. 👍
I mean, similar points per games, both have made all nba teams, ect. Like even if you wanna be as mean as possible, you could say Jt is top 5 even though he has really played since the achilles, and JB is top….30? 40? There’s hundereds of nba players that’s not that far apart
Yeah way worse. Carried tatum’s bum ass in that title run on ECF and Finals lmao
Now. They should’ve specified LeBron in his prime
He’s talking about Tatum
Oh damn lol
“Can I break this twice?”
7’2 460 lbs runs a 3.3
Six foot twenty, weighs a fucking ton
George Washington, George Washington. He saves the children but not the British children
I can’t believe I’m seeing this in the wild.
Didn’t be once hold an opponents wife’s hand in a jar of acid? At a party?
I heard that motherfucker had like…30 god damn dicks
Blast from the past.
[deleted]
Lmao at people seriously thinking John Cena is a better athlete 😭😭😂
Have you seen his pretend jump shot?
Could Cena beat Brown in an arm wrestling match? Yeah. Could Cena dunk a ball? No. Just two completely different types of athletes, to the point where they shouldn’t even be compared.
Strong isn’t necessarily athletic
How do you know Cena can’t dunk?
Cena is barely 6 ft if he’s even that. You think Cena jumping like
Nate Robinson 😂😂😂
He’s actually 6’1”. I have no idea if he can dunk but it’s weird to assume he can’t based on like…nothing.
I have a 5’7” friend that can dunk.
Isn’t he like 5’9
You don’t have to get as high over the rim as Nate could to dunk a ball. Nate couldn’t palm the ball and also cocked it way back. Nobody is saying Cena is pulling out an East Bay, just that he can clear the rim.
does athleticism just equal strength? I know obese dudes that could probably beat brown at arm wrestling. doesn’t make them athletic.
So John cena can win in one thing. Jaylen Brown winning in everything else
I’m taking John Cena in hide n’ seek too
Saying strength us just one thing is like saying for Brown that speed is just one thing.
It all comes down to how much you value raw strength over speed
Cena probably outlifts him in every single gym lift imaginable?
Pure strength, Cena is a genuine freak. Strength is a core athletic trait, after all. The feats of strength that mfer can do at 5’10” 240 are genuinely incredible.
They are both equally bad at chess.
I just listed one thing for both. I’m sure there are plenty of things Cena can do that Brown can’t, and obviously vice versa. Athlete is a vague term tbh.
Might as well compare a sumo wrestler to an Olympic swimmer
There’s no way you actually think there’s an argument for Cena lol.
I’m also not giving Cena credit for strength when dude has been on steroids since he started wrestling.
Cena was a center in college and they did pretty well, at a D3 school.
Obvious not Brown lol but he’s an athlete
lmfao NO this is hilarious. hahahaha there is no contest. at all. but funny
Can Jaylen Brown have a one hour broadway with Shawn Michaels in London?
I didn’t think so.
My favorite John Cena comp is I ran track in high school with a guy that was absolutely jacked. He got a picture with Cena once and side by side was hilarious. He was 6’2” 210lbs as a HS Junior (I found an old article that listed his measurements) but idk what he was when he graduated and took the picture with Cena. That’s about as big as Bronny or Donovan Mitchell right now as a 17 year old lmao. Cena is 6’1” 240-250lbs and is not a small guy at all, but NBA players, or guys I’ve met who are like 6’6” are just massive human beings. I don’t know if people appreciate the level of athlete these guys are where the average NBA player is 6’7” and 215 lbs. Duncan Robinson or Dorian Finney Smith are the average NBA player build. Now think about how much bigger someone like LeBron is or literally any Center in the league.
These dudes are giants, it is just a completely different kind of athlete. Now think about the difference between LeBron and Giannis. Now Giannis and Wemby. It gets cartoonish when you think about how fucking huge NBA players are.
I don’t think people have actually seen John cena to know that for sure though.
I wouldn’t assume arm wrestling either. Leverage is a big advantage in arm wrestling, and Brown’s got way longer limbs.
Mark Henry was in a Celebrity Slam Dunk Contest back in the day. Never judge a book by it’s cover.
Mark Henry is ACTUALLY a freak athlete though. Cena isn’t. Mark is the same guy who won the Arnold Strongman Classic, drug-free
Let you seen some of the weight that Cena has gotten up?
Also, when he was playing football, he’s the most yoked center I’ve ever seen.
I know people think he was not natty, but as far as strength, he always had the goods.
One day JB could probably eat a lot and get comparable strength.
JC probably could never have the innate natural quick twitch ability, vert and lateral movement that JB has.
I usually don’t think of strength by itself as athleticism, but rather strength while having athleticism in terms of quickness and speed.
I would be shocked if Cena at his peak could not dunk a basketball.
At 49? Probably not.
Cena at his peak was still stiff as a board and did like 7 moves because he wasn’t very agile.
I don’t think anybody who can bust out a hurricanrana can be described as stiff as a board.
It’s just an unfair comparison. They’re both insane athletes but have no crossover to each other. Cena can’t do shit in the NBA and Jaylen would look lost in a wrestling ring. They’re too completely different performance mediums of athletics
I guess I have to put this edit in: y’all, please, do not come at me suggesting I don’t think NBA players are better athletes. I’m saying that I do think they are. I’m saying just don’t undermine the athleticism it takes to be a pro wrestler simply because it’s acting-based over being a competition. No one would be talking about John Cena in 2026 if it weren’t for the fact that he was a great athlete 52 weeks a year for 20 years
I don’t understand what’s not fair about comparing them, yeah they are different athletes but why arent they comparable?
Because Cena is a lot of these guys’ idol or they grew up watching wrestling. That’s what makes this thread so funny 😆
Because it’s comparing an actual sport competition to theatre. Even the most athletically gifted 6’6+ wrestler is not comparable to an NBA player.
At best they can relate to each other in terms of cardio required, but they’re too different to grade on a same scale.
IShowSpeed is an athlete unlike any other but it doesn’t mean it’s going to translate to any sport simply because he’s athletic
The requirements of this exercise were not that it needed to translate to another sport.
The most athletically gifted 6’6”+ wrestlers may have played high level basketball, like Kevin Nash or Undertaker, and are therefore directly comparable to NBA players.
“Theatre”
Yeah cause guys who lift hundreds of pounds and slam each other through tables are the same as Shakespeare in the Park.
Jaylen would look lost in a wrestling ring.
A fake wrestling ring.
Lmfaooo we watch what we like, each to their own, but “wrestling” fans need to stop acting that wrestling wasnt acting.
Ishowspeed looks good in WWE, go put him in NBA game.
Hell we have ton of memes from him playing a charity match.
Theres a real differences between real sports and acting.
Every wrestling fan understands that it is a performance, but acting like they aren’t performing athletic stunts is absurd.
You’re framing it like John Cena and Danny Devito are in the same profession.
Its acting. Not performance, acting.
They were literally given a SCRIPT to do what they did.
Where tf did I say it wasn’t acting?? I’m the first person who will tell you wrestling is a performance, in fact, I say it in the comment you responded to.
Athletic ≠ sport. In no way did I suggest pro wrestling is a sport or a competition. All I said was that it still requires a degree of athleticism that shouldn’t be undervalued simply because it’s not a sport
I feel like the best way to compare who is a better athlete would be to take both of them and put them in random sports/ events and see who performs better on average
I would imagine Jaylen performs better than cena in most athletic feats although peak cena maybe clears him in some strength stuff
You are talking comparing to scripted gymnastics?
It is fundamentally different when you are doing a script and the person you are dancing with will go at the pace you want. Add to that the fact that wrestlers rise to the top by being charming.
Granted, I haven’t seen wrestling in about 40 years
Can’t lie to you brother, it’s evolved quite a bit in 40 years. It’s certainly gymnastics to an extent, but people have died off of routine moves. There’s a very shallow margin for error that they’re dancing on while taking heavy hits to the body for 30+ minutes at a time at a very fast pace.
I think the separation in this argument right now is a lot of people are not aware of what the top level pro wrestlers are capable of doing on a weekly basis, let alone what some will pull off on PPV.
Yea but one is an actual athletic competition
This is like saying anything choreographed (dancing, gymnastics, cheerleading, etc) is not athletics.
I don’t really wanna have the long conversation/argument about the realities of wrestling but ultimately, yes, I agree that NBA is an actual competition thus has a higher threshold of athleticism. But I don’t like that people downplay how athletic you need to be to have success in pro wrestling.
NBA is probably one of its closest comps because of the cardio required. Any amateur wrestler can tell you how exhausting just one minute of constant body movements can be, let alone when a match is 20-30 minutes long and you’re also falling on wood in-between or if you’re prime Cena, bleeding buckets. There’s no water break either.
Rest assured, I’m still saying Jaylen Brown and NBA players are better athletes, but it’s certainly irritating when people act like there is little athleticism required for pro wrestling simply because it’s a performance and not a sport
I think the main difference is that in pro wrestling, you can have people who are relatively unathletic because you can have other skills to compensate and not being an actual competition you can work around those limitations. Mick Foley is one of the greatest wrestlers ever yet I don’t think anyone would describe him as athletic (even if he had good endurance and cardio, and obviously put his body through an insane amount of punishment)
So, as much as any other comparison you may make, don’t ever compare freestyle or folkstyle wrestling to pro wrestling. They do not resemble each other, just the name. I would argue NBA and NFL are closer comparisons to pro wrestling than Olympic and college wrestling.
I like wrestling but holy shit some of these fans make it embarrassing. Comparing Cena to
Jaylen Brown is just insane lol
Like yeah, John Cena regularly suplexed other 250+ lbs athletes, with proper technique, keeping them both safe but also selling it as real.
He probably didn’t have the jump height or lateral quickness that Jaylen Brown has but he had an unreal level of athleticism, just in a totally different direction
Idk man that dude was busting out hurricanranas late into his career and lifting 3 fully grown adults to toss them. It’s definitely closer than you’re making it out to be.
It’s not
That move from Cena looked trash af lmfao. Please stop making us wrestling fans look this
delusional please lol
High Strength ≠ NBA athleticism
High strength and tough but still performing a choreographed stunt where the other person “helps”
I’m not saying John Cena isn’t a great athlete. How big is the gap I’m making it out to be? I didn’t think realize I was making there out be some massive gap
There is a massive gap though
Don’t get me wrong, pro wrestlers are crazy athletic.
But they are juiced to the gills and have you ever seen an NBA player up close? Bro, there’s levels. These people are giants with near superhuman verticals, speed, agility and strength at the top end.
It is so surreal to see up close. LeBron on the fast break, someone like Giannis yamming it on half a team. Wemby just existing. Even a mid sized player with solid athleticism like Brown is beyond freakish.
FFS, can we Stop Comparing Athletes in Different Sports!!!
Well he can turn invisible at will, do you know anyone else who can do that
i show speed is probably a better athlete but never really played sports
Putting lebron in there is lame. Peak LeBron is definitely a better athlete, but now Jaylen also has to deal with teammate dynamics. Wanted to see what a more unbiased answer looked like so we can see where he really judges himself.
Ha, the answer should be pretty obvious. Brown is nowhere near as athletic peak LeBron was (few are) but comfortably more athletic than LeBron in his 40s with arthritis :)
Who is better athlete than peak Lebron? Giannis? Wilt? Young Shaq?
No one. Peak LeBron is imo the greatest pure athlete of all time. You can critique his basketball skill or whatever but you can’t deny someone at that height having elite speed, elite vertical, elite strength and elite coordination.
The only negative thing about LeBron’s longevity is the very slow gradual decline that made nephews forget what his prime was like just because he’s still been good enough the last few years that people forget the man is nowhere close to his prime.
Young MJ was both the fastest and had the highest vertical in the NBA.
Lebron vs MJ debates are generally pointless because it’s unrealistic to say either one definitively stands above the other without being totally subjective. Especially if we’re comparing their peak athleticism.
I don’t think you can say one without the other.
Depends on what your definition of “athlete” is. Of you want to have a fruitful conversation, you should define it first, because there is no clear agreed-upon definition, and thus your comversation could lead to pointless arguments without setting the stage first.
I was thinking the same thing. JB might be better athlete than LeBron right now. But even if he was he can’t say it.
It seemed like it was for the primes and not current. At least that is what I was thinking with Brady etc in there.
True good point.
It would be insane for him to say he was better than peak LeBron. But like, if they were not teammates…maybe he would have? Athletes can have crazy hubris sometimes so I wanted to see if he would give an unreasonable take, but the teammate thing ends that.
Wasted his time there a bit
Makes sense
It does if you’re talking specifically about speed, vertical leap, strength, etc.
If you’re including more intangible factors like dominance, skillset, sports IQ, overall ability to win the game, then it’s crazy to say he’s a better athlete than Tom Brady.
He’s obviously interpreting as “athletic” considering he pauses at Speed being mentioned
LeBron is more athletic than Tom Brady. That shouldn’t be hard to understand
The gimmicks people come up with these days lol “break the stick”??? How about just say stop, that ended up lame af “uh you break it here?” 🤦♂️💀
Does Bron just increase in size every time some other athlete talks about him lol
You’re just jealous because he’s 8’3” 600lbs and you’re not.
Because he’s my boss now
4.3?
Doubt!
I wouldn’t doubt it when he was in his early 20s. Dude could fucking move.
We basically saw it during games in his first Cleveland stint
LeBron is an all time freak athlete but let’s be clear lol he cannot and never could run a 4.3
To be able to run your peak 40, you have to train for it and develop the starting technique. LeBron was never going to run his peak 40 because of this. However, the young (22-24 y/o) version of him was called by many the fastest player in the league in a straight sprint. I wouldn’t be shocked if he would have gotten into the 4.4s with proper training. But he was too tall and not quick enough outside of the gate to ever be able to get sub 4.4. LeBron is more like Usain Bolt, where his raw speed once he gets going is what’s in impressive. He’d more more competitive in a 60 yd dash than a 40.
Are we sure about the never could?
Yes, 4.3 is for the fastest players in the nfl. The top dozen fastest guys.
No one is doing that at 6’ 9”.
Consider that Lebron is closer in height to the fastest person ever than the fastest person in the NFL is. Tyrerk Hill (I know he is out of the league, but he is the fastest guy of the past decade by aclaim) is 5’10”, Bolt is 6’5”. The high school football film of LeBron is him looking like the strongest and fastest guy on the field. Maybe he isn’t 4.3 but he is definitely well under 5.
Also consider that 40 times are combine stats measured, by definition, before someone’s professional career. Those athletes improve on those times in the early parts of their career. Also, there are way more than a dozen guys in the NFL that can run a 4.3. There are usually at least a dozen guys in any given draft class. I just checked, in 2026 there were 22, including 3 4.2 guys. High level (actual olympic level) 100m guys are usually in the 4.2 range.
I agree. You’re also never training to run a 40 in basketball, the movements are different. I’d guess at his peak without training he was running like a 4.7 40, but that’s just pulling a wild guess out.
Let’s be honest, a 4.7 is still pretty fast. Actually speaking though, I ran a hand timed 4.7 and I’m sure LeBron is faster than me. I do think a 4.5 is possible for LeBron at his peak.
I just looked up before posting this some nfl players around his size. Gronk and Cam were the first two to come to mind and they both ran 4.6-4.7.
I doubt either one really trained for the 40 since their draft stock was reliant on that(people wanted to see Cam throw and Gronk was more medical related).
Lebron also reported he ran a 4.6 himself. So yeah you’re probably right. Someone saying they ran a 4.6 could be a 4.65 or so.
Really this is what your getting hung up on ? Did you watch yound bron he was as fast as he was strong.
Even at his athletic peak, I would be very surprised if LeBron could do better than 4.55
He couldn’t. Basketball players aren’t anywhere near as fast as football players and the football players in LeBron’s height/weight category only just about get to 4.55
Russ is the only dude i can imagine running a legit 4.4 among popular nba players
Dean Smith said he clocked Jordan running a 4.3
oh i’m sure
All of Jordan’s UNC athletic measurements are sus as hell. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jordan could get in the 4.4s, but he’s not doing it without training for it, and I very much doubt Jordan spent weeks prepping for an unofficial UNC measurement in college. That’s what NFL prospects do… weeks of training to prep for takeoff and getting the best start.
On average, sure. But there have been a lot of guards over the years that likely could touch the 4.4s with proper training.
It looks like Tyreke Hill and Raheem Mostert are the only players to hit 23 mph on tracking cameras. But they hit these speeds on long runs/catches/returns. They get to build a head of steam after a breakaway where they’re not hitting top speed until they’ve hit at least 100 ft straight line, with no reason to stop.
A guy like Russell Westbrook has hit 21.9 mph, but the court is only 94 feet, and he’s not starting at the baseline and running to the opposite baseline in a straight sprint. Usually it’s free throw line to free throw line before the player has to decelerate to avoid ending up in the stands. Thus, the most runway an NBA player gets before slowing down is around 65 feet, barely more than 20 yards.
On the other side, NFL players are doing it often on grass, with pads and spikes. However, it should be noted that most of the highest tracked mph times in the NFL have been on turf, including Hill’s NFL record 23.24 mark was done in week 2 of 2016 at the Texans’ stadium with artificial turf.
Edit: Added pads to last paragraph.
There was a running back going viral awhile back because he hit over 20mph just after breaking out of the box. So that was about ten yards.
Impressive, no doubt. Just keep in mind, most NBA players are over 6’2, which tends to be the upper limit of height in RB outside freaks like Derrick Henry or Brandon Jacobs.
The taller you are, the longer it takes to unwind and get going. Not saying tall players can’t be sudden, but if you do a large sample size testing of shuttle drills, height and average times will correlate strongly together.
Wouldn’t shock me if Tyrese Maxey ran a 4.3
no but it’s still freaky speed at 6’8. probably 4.6 as a younger if he trained to it
I guess it comes down to semantics but an athlete being a person skilled in sports it’s hard to pass over Brady as the winningest NFL player of all time
Pats fan here. Depends on the definition of athlete. The way JB is interpreting it means pure athletics (size, speed, strength) in which case brady is obviously not very high on the list.
If you take athlete to mean “sportsperson” skilled at their respective role in their sport then yeah, Brady clears everybody all time. That takes into account all the roles of a QB including the mental aspects.
Brady is remarkable in longevity though, especially taking the hits that he did, especially early in his career.
You must be brain dead if you think athletic and tom Brady in the same sentence but you are prolly just American.
Why so snippy?
Brady is unathletic but he is an ATHLETE that’s possibly the goat of his sport. So he’s less athletic than JB but a better athlete (more to being an athlete than just being athletic. Intangibles matter just as much).
Better player, not athlete. Steve Nash is a better player than Emanuel mudiay, but mudiay is a better athlete
Athlete and Athletic are not the same thing….
Athlete is a noun. Athletic is an adjective.
Everyone in the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB is a professional ATHLETE. Some of those athletes are more ATHLETIC than others.
Is is Mudiay a better professional athlete than Nash? No. Is he more athletic than nash? Yes
Nah I’m a fellow passive aggressive Canadian 😂
The fact that he lacks the physical traits is not lost on me. Like I already said it comes down to semantics of what makes someone a better athlete. He is the most skilled in his sport and won the most, to me that makes him the best athlete.
You know there are ways to word that sentence without coming across as a pompous prick, right?
Brady is notoriously unathletic
What stupid options. Started off with two content creators, followed by three white guys, two of which create content, the other being famously laughable in athleticism.
Then the interview has to feign shock when the next option is one of the most athletically gifted genetic freaks to play any sport.
Giving everybody the ability to post shit so easily with only a phone will be the downfall of humanity. Just utter brainrot and it baited me so hard.
Man his hair looks sad, isn’t better just to go bald as LeBron did?
Who is this host even? What is this segment even? How does he even have a platform? This just feels like a rich man giving his son a job.
Why is everyone complaining about not breaking on Cena instead of the literal undisputed GOAT of football? Edit: I’m have been educated on the fact that even if I still think he has more athletic talent, Brady is nowhere near as physically athletic as basketball players. Thank you.
Tom Brady is the goat but not a better athlete in terms of pure physically athletic ability.
Because even Tom Brady would admit that Tom Brady is not a great athlete. Tom Brady wasn’t a top 50 athlete on most NFL rosters he was on. The best player? Sure, the best athlete? Not even close.
Ig in terms of pure athleticism like running, jumping etc. It still just feels wrong to me to take him off when hes one of the most dominant players in any sport. Even if football requires less skill than basketball, being the goat at football surely means a comparable level of athletic talent?
QB is by more of a mental game than a physical game, especially when Brady played.
Brady had a great arm and could take a hit, don’t get me wrong, but outside of that he was a pretty bad athlete compared to other atheltes and I say this as a pats fan.
Yeah I edited my top comment to reflect this
Google toms 40 yard dash
The comments chain is the definition of being pedantic
Not tom Brady? Idk about that bro
Think he’s thinking about raw athleticism here. Otherwise he wouldn’t really be giving IShowSpeed any flowers imo.
Depends on how strict you are about the definition of athlete. Tom Brady is the GOAT QB but he won his rings off quick processing and reading times, not athleticism.
If he’s thinking pure raw athleticism I can see why he’d say that. Based on how he talks about bron in this clip I think that’s what he’s gauging.
It’s pretty obvious that’s what he’s doing when he talks abt speed, a literal streamer
Somebody pull up the combine photo and show people what a peak athlete looks like.
LeBoot Licker
Cena couldn’t hang in the nfl. All-Pros in the nfl (Travis Kielce, Julis Peppers) admit they couldn’t hang in NBA athletically.
Jaylen Brown thinks he’s a better athlete than Tom Brady? K bro…
Tom Brady is not athletically gifted
That is the topic here
he aint beating speed in a race, that man can run lol
Speed is fast but he isnt D1 track athlete fast.
Is Jaylen Brown? Didn’t they race already??
he can beat him, nba players arent that fast, (well apparently they already raced lol, too short of a race, and didnt even see who won lol , and speed pulled his hamstring
jaylen has his head so far up his ass. Cena 100% is a better athlete.
no contest. hes stronger, faster, and more acrobatic.
jaylen can’t even dribble with his left hand and hes been in the league 10 years.
no contest
Is this satire
This is a good troll I almost reacted
I would disagree with you but I have never seen him do all those things you say he does
John Cena isn’t even half the athlete that JB is lmao
Dude, Cena is 49.
lmfaoo you can’t be serious. Cena is an actor, and his stunts gave him chronic pain
I wouldn’t say Cena is the better athlete but why are you being intentionally obtuse. It would clearly be referring to Cena in his prime not 50 yr old man Cena.
Love how all the cena fanboys are Celtics fans lmaooo wonder why
Love for JC knows no bounds
Idk if you’re trying to make this about race, but he grew up 30 miles north of Boston. It was also part of his gimmick when he wrestled, like a caricature of Wahlberg.
It all depends how you’re measuring athleticism.
Cena is definitely stronger and more acrobatic but Jaylen is quicker and springier. They’re different types of athletes so comparing is hard.
Being able to dribble isn’t a demonstration of athleticism so not sure why that’s being mentioned.
do you think dribbling is associated with hand eye coordination?
Yes its correlated, but not a 1:1. And even if it was, hand eye coordination isnt athleticism by most peoples definitions (altho its subjective ofc)
that makes sense. thanks for the response
Deciding on who’s a better athlete is really completely subjective. Elite Crossfitters are probably the best athletes in the world and the average basketball fan would probably take 90% of NBA players over the best one in the world off of speed and jumping ability.
The best athletes in the world do a sport that makes them money, not CrossFit.
As someone who has had a chance to see a wide variety of athletes from different sports, the people who have the best bet of just picking up something new and doing it are gymnasts. They have the most well rounded strength, and the general body awareness just makes them great at picking up new physical skills.
This being downvoted is hilarious. Type of dudes who’d say JB is a better athlete than Michael Phelps
There isn’t a crossfitter alive who is even close to the athlete that Michael Phelps was, so that’s an insane thing to say.
If you’re good enough to win Olympic gold medals in any discipline you’re not doing crossfit.
An elite crossfitter is stronger, has better stamina, endurance and flexibility than JB. I’d call that the very definition of being a better athlete.
And JB is faster, more explosive and has quicker reactions.
He didn’t break the stick on John Cena? Lmao okay
Cena is strong yeah but how fast can he run/jump?
Best Athlete is more than just strength.
Lebron has such insane athleticism
You’re 13 if you think John Cena is a better athlete than literally any All NBA player
Wwe is fake and John cena is an actor tho
It’s just bodybuilding and acting with some endurance, not comparable at all to nba level athleticism.
Still wouldn’t put them on the same level as an nba player especially a guard
Athleticism is more than just running and jumping buddy
Are Hollywood stunt doubles athletes?
Depends on what kind of stunt double we’re talking about, but generally speaking, yes, of course they are athletes
Philadelphia has a statue for Rocky 😭😭😭
Yeah? Everyone in the NBA travels and carries the ball. Doesn’t take away the training and athleticism it takes to pull off those stunts. Do I think John Cena is more athletic than JB? Probably not, but it’s probably closer than you think.
By that logic neither is Brock Lesnar, Kurt angle, or any of the other dozens of pro wrestlers who come from athletic backgrounds.
Just because WWE is scripted doesnt mean that the wrestlers arent athletic.
