Mamu did all the work with a shifty move on that first one, but the second is a legit dime.
Bronny looks more confident with the ball than he has previously.
It’s also looking at who Mamu has on him where he was positioned. Maxime was ready to go back to paint and was caught leaning too far back. Good recognition of position.
Maybe, just maybe, he likes playing basketball without his dad watching his every move. It’s like learning to drive with your parents in the car vs. when you’re by yourself. You’re just a little tense when they’re with you, but don’t realize it until you get the opportunity without them.
I agree, genuinely surprised at his handle/decisiveness here
They’ve been drilling playmaking in his game for the past two years and it’s shown a lot of improvement
How’s he been with other parts of the game?
Defense has been all right, his shot is good, and for the minutes he plays, he holds his own. Especially for what JJ asks him to do.
he doesn’t look like he’s not an nba player which is more than I can say for a few laker players on the roster last year and some on the lakers roster this years
His defence and playmaking seem much better.
He is pressuring lanes and closing out.
And looking for the pass.
Hopefully his shooting is better
Mamu mia
Makes my guy. Love him
Bronny looking good
Move over Luka this is Mamu’s team
Me: I want lebronMom: we have lebron at home
Point god Bronny
He looks much more comfortable and confident on the court compared to the last two years. Hopefully JJ gives him some run early in the season to see if he can be a rotational piece
White naz Reid
mamu there goes that man
Solid 3’s and a good defense, I’m beginning to believe again 😭 💜
Lmao at hearing JJ(?) yelling at thybulle to get back to his man multiple times before the kings get an open 3. Really does sum up the thybulle experience.
Am I crazy? I thought his shtick was specifically defensive awareness and ability, was he only ever good on ball?
His shtick is “One of the best on ball”.
But always been meh off ball. In fact everything about him except his one shtick is meh at best
Is he saying Thy or 5 get back?
My problem with Bronny right now is he can’t beat anyone off the dribble as a point guard. He’s got great court vision and he grinds on defense, but man, on offense, it’s just an ugly scene. He’s athletic but doesn’t have a great first step. He needs to figure something out.
I didn’t know that was Sandro’s game. Sweet move
Is Bronny modeling his game after Grimes? He looks way smoother than the last time I watched him play. Sandro is also fluid as heck with those step backs. Almost thought he was Grimes for a second lmao.
The first one not an assist though of course the NBA credited him with one. The second was an legit assist.
Wait mamus with the lakers??
Is the first one really finding him when Sandro created his own space after the pass with a few moves ….Come on now
