Like Gil said, “he’s dumb as a box of rocks, calls himself Swaggy P and nothing in his name got a P in it.”

That’s how I feel about my dog

He literally admit to his boys jumping DLo’s brother in the same interview. I think he just doesnt know when to shut up.

“Mature P” doesn’t have the same ring to it.

McCants is a close 2nd.

Before he started playing

The SwaggyP Paradox

I would then disagree with him be trusting only one thing he says which is when says “Don’t trust a thing I say”

Nick Young

Kobe notoriously did not hang out with most of his teammates especially in group functions

thats the part that convinced me its real

There’s a chapter of Phil Jackson’s book where Kobe confronted his teammates for not having his back during the Colorado rape story, and their response was that he never hung out with them and didn’t even invite them to his wedding. Kobe was not a great teammate

He liked to do his dirt away from other people

Nah that’s 100% believable from any star. You throw the party to boost team morale. But that doesn’t mean you have any interest in spending time with those people.

Nah it follows Chandler Parson’s story that Kobe comped his 6 figure table service bill at Duvet. Kobe wasn’t there, he just called him to say, I got this, have fun.

I have heard from whom

I trust (and who would know) that this specifically was not his thing.

Yeah, he def would’ve forcefully stayed

Nick Young - “Oh wait. Did I say Kobe got the strippers? What am i talking about. It was me. I got the strippers.”

IDK, Kobe immediately leaving a situation where women are taking off their clothes consensually checks out.

wtf, this sounds EXACTLY like Kobe lol. You don’t know much about out him at all.

Maybe this was Kobe’s way of messing with them if he knew that one of his coworkers was having marital issues

Both were arrogant. Shaq was a bully and Kobe was a loner

I was on a team where one player was a high school legend, breaking school and state records. I remember going back for an alumni event one Christmas like 10 years after I graduated and the current players were asking me what he was like and how cool it was that I got to play with him.. the reality was he was fucking asshole bully who was enabled by coaches and parents. Dude flamed out in college cause he was undersized and didn’t learn how to be accountable.

Look at Shaq’s story. Brian Shaw sounds like a little Shaq fanboy reciting all the times Kobe slighted him.

it’s called mamba mentality bro. only a true hooper like me would get it

ESPECIALLY, when you DID IT

he was a pretty great person according to his teammates who weren’t bums

his teammates like Adam Morrison

He publicly defended me numerous times. He knew I really liked Didier DrogbaI..I get a package of an autographed game-worn Drogba jersey. He knew I was in a low point in life, out the league. He sent that as kind of a I’m thinking of you. It’s what he did for a lot of people

or Sasha Vujacic

“You know, Kobe was my big brother,” Vujacic said. “I was honored and lucky and you know just happy to be able to learn and compete against him every day, and I think he accepted me the first day when he saw that I’m also a little bit obsessed with winning and hard work and that’s how the mutual respect and brotherhood kind of started.”

or Pau

“A critical role, I think a very unique role. He’s definitely one of the players that elevated me like no other. He pushed me to be not just one of the better power forwards in the league, but to become the best out there on a nightly basis during our time and our run together. I was very fortunate to be able to join the Lakers when I did, to have Kob as a teammate, as a mentor, as an older brother.

or Ariza

“Kobe and I were teammates, but he was more so like of like a bigger brother to me,” said Ariza.

Ariza also added there was a reason why Bryant didn’t interact with a lot of people. “You have to be a different type of like like off to like understand like his drive and his want to be great like that. You got to kind of have the same type of off maybe not to like you know not same talent but the same type of off to understand it.

You have some kind of confidence to say that about others having not walked a step in their shoes, and basing your assumptions about someone having never met them, solely based on what someone else

Would say. I news for you, people gossip. Those with the biggest mouth are usually most ill-equipped to speak

And He may have been -

For you to reiterate that, it serves no purpose or value.

I hate that your point is actually extremely valid😭😭

thank you

Kobe wasn’t afraid to fistfight Shaq if he had too. Everyone knew it.

Do you even read the sentence that OP quotes? If you did, thats a crazy ass mindset you had there.

This is about Kobe being mad that his teammates did not back him during his rape allegation.

Idc how anti social you are, or how great you are at playing a stupid ball, dont fucking rape people.

Being anti social and expected people to have your back when you rape is crazy. All of them probably thinks “yep, thats probably what he did on his freetime”.

Applauding that is crazy.

the self insertion here is allowing many of you to forget how much of a dickhead he was

2010s Kobe stories still portray him as a mega douche bag, what are you talking about?

if Kandi can rotate her ass at 2.1 rotations per second, and she averages \(1 earned per 3 rotations, how long will it take for her to earn \)2000? (give your answer in hours)

I feel like Kobe loved trick questions

Such a great song, even Thomas Bangalter (part of Daft Punk) had to use it in his set!

I don’t do strip clubs, but I do want to see someone try to step to raspberry beret

That’s just a baller move

4D chess fr

Him arguing with Nick after Nick said just because Gil, MJ, Lebron himself are better than Nick at Basketball, doesnt mean they love it more than Nick.

thats hilarious and awesome

Big Brained them

Dude, it was both. He was an asshole pervert.

He used to work out at UCI during the of season when he was still playing. I’ve heard multiple first hand accounts of him having his goons approach girls on the track team with an offer to “come hang out with Kobe”.

Yeah cause only perverts like strip clubs come on dude

Better than what he do to girls in Denver

The James Harden scholarship fund has definitely helped put more than one young, aspiring female through college.

Im gonna give Harden a pass. At somepoint its no longer an activity or entertainment… its just life.I wouldnt be surpised if Harden got lap dances while studying film.

You think this is bad? This chicanery??? He orchestrated it! Jimmy! HE FLOPPED HIS WAY TO AN MVP! And he gets to be an All-star??? What a sick joke!

I’m even thinking, he’s just saying that to “protect“ his image

be without a choice

I think he’s referring to his own behavior and sexual assault allegations.

The joke is that he raped a women, with that information I made the above statement that he respected women. Does the humor make sense now razatiger?

I love how you make an attempt at intersectionality, only to completely ignore how the sex work industry as a whole preys on vulnerable women.

Whoosh

Forreal, it’s like their willingness to critically think about moral issues stops and ends with how they can use it for other motives

Look up Kobe Bryant Colorado

Not what I meant by that comment and not who I voted for also not Christian. 0/3

WetBeaverMaster, the ultimate user I must impress online. Please say nice things plz ermygerd xD!

you play discgolf and old school RuneScape bro you are the butt of the joke

Saying “he paid his dues” is insane in the context of what he did

“He rapes but he saves!”

not sure thats how it works lol.

Sexual assault is okay if you support women basketball.

I was not aware helping women’s basketball progress was “paying your dues” for checks notes a nonconsensual rape.

Maybe that does explain why so many fans are still die hard stans for the guy though.

I’m sure the girl he raped would love to hear that throwing money at women’s sports makes his rape A-Ok

She consented with Kobe and the 8 other men she slept with after, she just wanted money.

He probably partied first before showing the strippers

Hes losing respect and integrity. Because kobe is dead and he wouldnt run his mouth if kobe was alive.

I don’t think he’s gonna remember in a few years he said stupid maxxing on Reddit…

The irony of calling someone else stupid while using a phrase like “stupid maxing”. Like come on bro

It’s pretty clearly used tongue-in-cheek as a humor device.

How do you do fellow adults

no, it’s just him yapping about something that was meant to be private between the guys in the team. talking about it, especially after kobe’s death where he wont see any repercussions from his gossiping, is weak as hell and borderline cowardly.

My…. what now

… easily

I didn’t. I commented on a nick young video and I read the reddit header and commented that he sucks

The fuck are you talking about? lol

That’s not what he meant lol.

Right? Kobe is the most innocent person I know and someone who would never cheat and someone that would treat women with the utmost respect

Kid just turned 13 and got his own account
