IHart averaged 9.4 rebound and Chet averaged 8.9 while also being responsible for guarding stretch bigs.

And honestly, Mara hasn’t totally impressed as a rebounder thus far despite his size. It’s always going to be rebounding by committee. It’s silly to act like Chet is some weak link as a rebounder.

That’s what either IHart, JWill, or even Sorber are for Chet never got the placement down when it came to rebounding

don’t quit your day job

Everyone that watches NBA has seen OKC play enough to form an opinion about them without having to rely on tiktok

For sure, I’m just saying I think a lot of his screens have looked so effective because refs haven’t been calling them.

OKC sent our new S&C coach out to Spain to work with him

Somehow he’s in better shape…after working on getting in shape. I mean yeah lol

Also Summer League is often rough for bigs because they have the ball in their hands less and the guards are trying to show out.

You see Hali tonight? He looks great.

Genuinely mine was funny tho

I was kidding

Our best lineup is still Chet at the 5

Ik in some matchups we need hartenstein out there but our best look is always gonna be

Shai

Ajay/Cason/Mccain ??

Caruso

Jdub

Chet

Give me the 5 guys you named in a line up lmaoo idc if its for 2 minutes u need to see it.

Jared is the bigliest of men

Mara’s like 260 tho he’s not so easy to bump

I got back into basketball a few years ago and like you I thought something had changed with the step-through, but in doing my research it was always like this. See this video.

In high school and AAU ball in the late 90s (when I played) I feel like some of these would have been called travels, but I also distinctly remember being taught to use the step through in post moves – but for some reason I thought we were taught to jump with both feet when doing the step through. But it’s always been legal, it just might not have been used the way it is used to the extent that it is now.

Picking up the pivot foot has never been a travel at any level of basketball. Placing your pivot foot back on the ground while you still have the ball is a travel.

Bc he’s entering the shooting motion and not establishing a new pivot foot. If he didn’t go into the shot you’d be correct

So many people talk about this team and don’t actually know anything about them.

Maybe. But besides playing against Wemby, he dominated last year.

Would you rather pay a 1st team defensive player and stretch 4 max money or some garbage mid player? I see a lot of players getting paid what Chet get paid and provide a fraction of the on-court value.

Presti already tweaked the books (trading away 3 contracts) to get under the 2nd apron.

i dont think so, he will probably be 2nd in dpoy most years…thats pretty valuable
