He averaged 2.2 less points per game than JB while averaging 3.5 more assists, 5 more rebounds, 2% higher field goal percentage, and 5.7% higher true shooting averages. Their scoring basically the same. Tatum is more efficient while doubling his assists ans rebounds.
Additionally, in the playoffs, Tatum was a +28 +/- over the playoff series. Jaylen Brown was a -23 over those same games.

Unfortunately I think this analysis typically goes the other way. If he loses some athleticism and wasn’t that athletic to begin with, he probably starts having trouble getting to the rim, which means he can’t open as many passing lanes. Also starts having more trouble on defense, and while I think he’s an underrated defender (yes, really), he’s never been ace on that end.
I’m not worried about it, he looks great, that’s just my thought on the concern generally.
