Morris went for a cheap shot first considering the foul prior did not warrant that escalation at all. You can’t be going for an intentional cheap shot that can potentially injure another player, and then turn around and expect nothing after.

The full arm extension only happens because he flops. Guys push each other with two arms every single game numerous times. Usually the opposing player is meeting them with similar force which prevents the arms for extending fully.
This is what Jokic does all the time in numerous ways. He makes hard contact or gives a certain amount of force. The opposing player then does something to meet that same force. Jokic then flops to get a call.

I can’t speak for the sub, but most times a player flops it’s because there was a foul on the play and they’re trying to get the ref to call it. I personally don’t care about flopping in these cases, it’s when a player flops when there wasn’t even a foul that it’s unsportsmanlike.
You can if you can get away with it. More typically in the paint though. If it were there it would look normal. You also can’t escalate and argue that your just doing it back. That’s a technical.
