Embiid’s knee gave out somewhere right when you posted this

Why do you think this happened? The Sixers performed a blood sacrifice to try to keep Embiid on the court

I’d like to handle Embiids load.

We got a comedian over here.

In Embiid we trust.

He can call Sasha Grey for tips on handling extra loads

Jalen Brown is worth like two seconds at least

They can trade Simons, who they don’t really need because they already have plenty of on ball offense and don’t need another defensive liability, but $6M pretty much just gets you Jaxson Hayes or Precious Achiuwa. Horford feels less indispensable with Porzingis’ injury, and Zach Edey, CMB, Mara and Paul Reed probably aren’t for sale from their team’s situations either.

Philly’s best bet is to overpay for someone like Ware, sending them a player and a pick, and Milwaukee just says sure because they want the draft capital.

Outside of that, it’s Adem Bona until the wheels fall off.

LeBron James and Jaylen Brown are both tradeable assets.

Yes. A 1st and a couple 2nds

If they really wanted to get someone they have some salary mixed in to get an actual guy. Probably wouldn’t try to get them until closer to the deadline tho

They have like 10 2nd round picks lol

a bunch of 2nd round picks, first, and some promising end of the rotation wings that could be more useful on other teams

I hear Zach Collins is available

I’m not sure who would even be out there.

Lakers will give them Looney in exchange for Lebron

2033 first, bunch of seconds, swaps

We can also get creative and trade like a 2027 + 2029 first if we get a 2028 first back

there’s enough at our disposal to make a trade

I was already thinking they needed to trade for a better center cause if embiid is gonna stay healthy he prob should play around 25mpg. Now it’s a must.

Lebron has a tradeable contract

Time for Lebron to play Center again.

Can Bron play Center xD

Pretty sure the Celtics would trade Luka Garza for Edgecomb straight up.

Somehow upgraded from Drummond to Hukporti, and still lost.

Does this mean he can come to ring ceremony?

not just that but they are really suffering in big depth. we all know embiid is gonna miss time and the only other center is Bona.

if healthy hukporti would be a contributor for the sixers squad, then damn this sixers squad is fucked lol

Brown just went up a spot to be #6 on the team

If Embiid wasn’t late for that one practice, Ariel wouldn’t have needed to step into his role for the early scrimmage at which he was pushed extra hard, I am confident he wouldn’t have tore his achilles.

/s in case someone thinks I’m actually serious.

He’s not 35 anymore

Against certain matchups, he no doubt could

A mix of him, Dean Wade, Barlow, Bona, Taco. Eventually gonna need to make a move closer to the deadline

LeBron’s actually a 4 in this era. But can def play the 5 if need be.

How the hell is everyone taking you so seriously

Maybe the 5Ms

Don’t worry LeBron. We’re good

once they grab the back of their leg….its achilles….and it was non-contact too

He 1000% knew what it was, he had the same injury on the other leg a few years ago its horrible

What happened? Did he try to grab a rebound? I didn’t watch the game.

This is also his second Achilles tear, he had one on his other foot as well. It’s likely career ending.

Also kinda sucks that all the comments are just memes about Bron and the sixers. Dude might never play in the league again after being not super established. That’s devastating for him

I hear you, but also it’s not like the people in this thread are talking directly to him. If so I’m sure the tone would be much more somber.

That’s a good point, especially with all the opportunities that come with backing up Embiid to prove yourself in the regular season. His only competition was Drummond and Tacko Fall

Nah, at the least he’ll be welcomed back into the Aus NBL with open arms.

Is it the same problem as the cancer windmills?

There are some serviceable big men out there. Not starting level, but centers that will do the job fine without it hurting the team too much.

Think Drew Eubanks - high energy, pick and roll center, or maybe Drew Timme - more a skilled, ground-bound center.

No one that’ll be able to play meaningful play off minutes, but fine for the regular season, especially Eubanks.

Think he needs a nickname change

I had no idea it was going to be season ending when it happened 🤕

It’s simply Once a Knick……

Knicks, Sixers and Celtics all thought it would be funny to swap centers this summer and see how long it takes for people to notice.

Tacko fall will avg 40 min a game the last 30 games of the season

I mean, it’s pretty damn bad for them. He was likely going to end up starting 30-40 games with Embiid’s health history and they need the depth cuz you know he’s not playing 40 minutes a night. Incoming Tacko Fall minutes.

Not the end of the world but could be sneakily impactful if Embiid misses his usual number of games

Unfortunate for sure

for embiid, they would say “former MVP” i think

Figuring out how to get AD to Philly under salary cap rules would require a trade machine that knows quantum mechanics.

If the Sixers win this year, it’s clearly because they signed Dillon Jones, who has won 2 chips in 2 seasons with 2 different teams, and is going into his 3rd season and 3rd team.

I looked it up last night. He started on a 2-way with Knicks, and is currently on 1 year $3.5m guaranteed (Knicks was offering him the min before he signed with Philly.)

Embiid’s blood boy?

He didn’t, he’s on a one year deal. Only got the min on the Knicks as well.

At this point do you think love is even a viable player?
