I think he’s more lost, or doesn’t know where to be intuitively than a lack of motor or lethargy. So he kind half commits to what he’s doing a lot of the time and his body language reads “this is what I should be doing…. right?”. He might know plays well and has the physical tools to be a decent bench player, but his innate basketball feel/awareness in the flow of the game really sets him back imo. Which it’s quite ironic because his dad has one of the best basketball feel/intuition ever.
Don’t forget he had the heart issue. Yes he recovered, but I can’t imagine his conditioning was able to catch up at the same rate.
he should be studying tape on Davion Mitchell no joke. If he can be a pest/menace on defense, bring the ball up the court and shoot league average 35% from 3 he can have a 10 year career.

He is perfectly good middle of the bench guy. Good enough to bring him in for like 4-5 minutes each half to siphon an opposing players energy for a bit, try and throw them off balance.
