Both of those are reasonable responses to recent media narratives about Jaylen Brown. When he was getting his name thrown around in the MVP race last season, it was fair to say that was overating him. When the media reports that hes viewed as the 7th best player on the Celtics and he gets traded in a salary dump, its reasonable to say thats underrating him. Theres a massive gap–like 150 players–between MVP candidate and 7th best player on a team. Jaylen Brown sits somewhere between that. Its not the fans fault the media is telling some Three Bears story in their reporting about him.
