I hope the Clippers just let Rui jack a shit ton. I really want to see how much he can really score. His consistency is truly remarkable. His only true value is scoring so I want them to just let him keep shooting this season.
I swear he hit every open shot in last year’s playoffs.
He’s just a demon when it comes to jumpers. That’s like all he can do though so I get why we let him go but always gonna be a Rui fan. He’s great

Then they wound up using the MLE on Sexton.
Rui is pretty good but his fit with the current roster isn’t quite as good. He’s excellent at shooting from the corners, but not versatile in scoring.

Letting Rui walk to pay Grimes is not going to be looked at favorably in the near future, especially when you also spent money on Sexton.
Yes it will tf? Grimes is a much better player for the Lakers than Rui. And paying sexton is fine. Luka and AR wore down fast last year from a heavy workload. Need someone to score of the bench.
I love Rui, but he’s not great at rebounding for a guy his size, defending consistently, playmaking, or off-ball. He’s automatic when it comes to catch and shoot 3s though. This clip and his stat line of 21 pts, 5 rebs, 0 assists pretty much illustrates the Rui Hachimura experience lol.
