He’s an above average 3pt shooter and basically nothing else at this point. Teams are going to respect any player beyond the arc who has a decent shot.

Most of a shooter’s value is spacing, and it generally takes a while for someone’s reputation to change
Unless Klay comes out shooting 28% from 3 over the first 50 games or something, he’ll be a valuable piece of the offense
His job is to make sure he creates space he did that to be fair

He’s washed compared to his prime self in terms of his speed and lateral quickness with his injuries and his age but they’re still going to respect the 3 and not leave him wide open.

He is washed lol…relative to what he was. That doesn’t mean he’s unplayable. He’s still a capable NBA player

I don’t know why a lot of people aren’t putting the Heat in their top 5. I was flamed for this opinion some months ago. An MVP player plus Spo’s coaching plus a decent supporting cast is a recipe for a Heat Finals appearance. Spo did more with so much less with Butler.

THJ, Klay, Wiggins, and Portis are all good shooters. Davion Mitchell was good on low volume and Jovic has been a good shooter in the past.
The 3-point shooting just doesn’t seem like that much of an issue, particularly when Giannis is gonna create a ton of wide open shots.
Two of their players can’t shoot tho. Thats why they’re having point giannis. Just like how the 76ers used Ben Simmons only as pg because they couldn’t put him anywhere else cuz it’d destroy the spacing.

Not bad for like a week of training camp with an overhauled roster. Expected a lot more clunkiness. The roleplayers I had a good feeling about played fantastic.
