**Steve Ballmer has decimated this team. Their star is an extremely injury hampered PG who is talented but not a natural first option, and then they basically have a fourth starter, two fifth starters, and a center who wouldn’t start on any other team.
Jackson will compete for the starting job with a significantly declining 38-year-old Brook Lopez and Yanic Konan Niederhauser, while fifth overall pick Keaton Wagler figures to factor in.
Fans might remember that there was concern over the Clippers giving the Thunder a top pick last year after a surprisingly awful start, but Kawhi ended up putting together his best season in years, leading LA to a playoff spot.
Since then, the Clippers lost Zubac for Wagler and Harden for Garland in an attempt to get younger. It then seemed like they had done well to get Ingram and picks for Kawhi, before it came out that Ingram might be out the entire season with a partially torn Achilles tendon. For the first time in 15 years, the Clippers might be really, really bad.
