It’s been rare to see a player look absolutely completely unstoppable but KD on GSW in that Clippers first round series was the definition of inevitable. Without injuries the Warriors were guaranteed winning that year, maybe even if only one of either Klay or KD went down instead of both.
When I was young, we had a player on our high school football team who was just in a class above anyone else in the area (didn’t make the league, but definitely D1). At one point, an opposing coach got in trouble during an interview - reporter asked, “what can you do to slow down ?” Coach responds, “do you have a gun? We could shoot him.”
