This post is ragebait trying to create a narrative.
The guy is just saying he’s trying to carve out his own spot in the league and he’s working hard to prove himself and get out of his dad’s shadow.
He’s said multiple times before in interviews that he knows he isn’t the same player as his dad and he’s trying to be as valuable as he can in other ways.
Hate on the powers that be for nepotism etc, but I’m rooting for the kid, what has he done wrong? He’s trying to do what he can with an opportunity, he’s never been arrogant about it.

He’s shown occasional flashes of starting NBA caliber, he has a fairly high floor in that he doesn’t make many boneheaded plays, he actually put the work in. It’s still absolutely nepotism but he could have been so much of a diva bum and the Lakers would still have to keep him to keep LeBron happy, but he didn’t do anything like that. I’m weirdly rooting for him to find his own niche in the league as a depth guy
For a late 2nd round pick, he is great (relative to almost all selected where he was)
He’s the 55th pick or whatever and has FAR surpassed that…
And he missed most of his college year because he had a cardiac event and heart surgery. He has gotten better and absolutely has a place in the nba and it’s not just because his name is LeBron James Jr
He’s better than deep bench players on many other teams
I think professional sports is one of the harder places to stay relevant purely on nepotism. You just eventually get found out. At the start you get the opportunities and coaching others can’t but eventually when everyone is in a more even playing field and competition is constant you either swim or sink
If bronny can legitimately make a career for himself in the NBA even as small role player it shows he belongs. The NBA is a tough league, I feel sometimes people don’t appreciate that.
I personally don’t think he will last too long because as soon as he loses a step he is gone but good on him for being humble and working at what he can do.

I’ll always cheer for this kid. He could have just phoned it in, done anything else, and lived off his dad’s wealth. But he’s worked hard, through health issues, to just maintain a roster spot on one of, if not the highest profile sports teams in the world. I hope he’s got a long career. If he ends up like a Seth Curry, I think it would be a success.
