Well, that deal has us sending our only two centers out. We’d have like 1 big left on the roster. So getting multiple centers back would make some sense.

I don’t like the deal, to be clear, but I think that’s the logic

Kings should sell high on Raynaud

Yeah lol high AF if we give up all 3 bigs no way

Like a power forward?

We can add Dalton for Cardwell for sure…

Trading away Maxime is shades of Haliburton. Which makes me feel like we’d do it.

Yeah I’d vastly prefer Okongwu for \(16m a year to Duren for like \)40m+ a year.

Really high on Okongwu

That Bucks trade aint bad either

Atlanta wouldn’t do it. This FO/coaching staff are too bought-in on shooting centers, and Okongwu is JJ’s best friend IRL. I just don’t see it. Only possibility I see from Atlanta would be to send them Jock and Nickeil and Kispert, or something like that. Basically, send the backup center and a higher-end wing player. Doubt DET likes that, though, so you probably need a third team.

That’s the only one that catches my eye

These Hawks or Bucks trades would be amazing

Plus a few picks. They’d end up in a better place tbh.

is he in the running for offseason mvp? i’d say kuminga was the front runner for a while, but duren has been making a strong push lately

I’d do Turner + KPJ or AJGreen. Wouldn’t give up Jaquez or picks

are herro and kuzma really considered “bad boys” or just straight up braindead?

I mean… Sabonis is fully healthy now. It’s a question of how long it’ll take for him to shake the rust off and get back to from. Still don’t think you take the trade, but Domas’ injury shouldn’t be the reason you don’t want it.

Okongwu is exactly who the Pistons need, if I can’t keep Duren I’m taking that deal without thinking

I doubt the hawks offer this. OO is on a great contact for two more years. And it’s unclear that duren is a substantial upgrade. Kispert is a negative asset but makes the numbers work. Would be surprised if hawks pull this trigger.

I think this is just salary matching, surely there will be picks attacked?

Does Herro + Turner tickle your fancy? You get a replacement C and the ‘create his own shot’ guy y’all’ve been missing. Bucks immediately get a 22-year-old star to build around.

You overvalue OO. I’d rather have Turner and Jamie. TBF all those deals need picks coming from other teams going to the pistons and I don’t even think Duren is worth the 5 year 200 million that he’ll wind up taking

Sabonis isn’t injured nor does he have an injury history like Davis. To lump together is disingenuous

“Not very exciting” is better than letting him walk out the door for nothing

AD should be the move. Short term contract and he’s a massive talent upgrade. If you can get him healthy for a playoff run, that’s the best chance at overcoming the complete lack of depth on the team and only having a couple good players.

This is why pistons will increase their offer to Duren.

Turner in theory is at least really helpful to open up space for Cade and to solve the problem of Thompson clogging the offense when he shares the floor with a non-shooting center. Bucks also have a ton of ball-handling guards and the Pistons need a secondary creator. It’s a disappointing return value wise for sure, however, the fit coming back could compensate a lot for that value and it lets the Pistons not have $40m devoted to the center position in a league where that’s becoming increasingly infeasible if your center isn’t a superstar.

Okongwu and Daniels plus a pick seems fair for both sides

The Atlanta trade would be a massive hit for the Pistons. You should absolutely take it if that’s on the table.

You get a floor spacing center, and two jack-of-all-trades forwards.

? Turner would unlock Cade and ausar on offense

Okongwu is a perfectly fine replacement starting center if you’re going to trade Duren. The right age and the right salary for their core. I would push for a pick but that Hawks trade looks the best to me.

Betting on AD is most likely a good bet. But also don’t think wizard is trading him as healthy AD put them in top 4.

Everytime he is healthy, he proves just one of the best player. If kawhi and AD didn’t have health issues, they would be top 6

As a Hawks fan I’d prefer OO over Duren. Duren is a better player, but OO floor spacing is invaluable to our system because of Dyson shooting struggles. I shiver at the floor spacing thought of Duren Dort Daniels

I completely disagree the options here provide solid players in return. Paying 200 million for Duran is a mistake.

Well, be prepared to take a massive step back then. You’re not replacing Duren. Stewart isn’t even there anymore. So either make Duren whole, sign and trade him for SOMETHING, or lose him for nothing and take a massive step back without replacement. Make your choice, Pistons fan

It’s a dumb ass fuck trade proposal, but it does also have you guys getting back both of our centers.

He’s a bad defender that doesn’t space the floor; that’s a concern on any team but especially this Detroit team who doesn’t have a lot of shooting in general, and almost all of their shooters are also defensive liabilities who need to be slotted into defence focused lineups

There’d definitely be picks going to Detroit  this just seems to be focusing on what would be required to make the salary work

For who?

Pistons may lose Duren for nothing.

Prime AD would be worth

Raynaud is going to be really good as well

Multiple TPEs cannot be combined to acquire a single player (ie combining \(10m and \)5m to acquire a $15m player), but afaik a team can use multiple TPEs within the same transaction to acquire multiple players

Turner+AJ Green/Kevin Porter Jr/Jacquez for Duren works with Green/KPJ/Jacquez sliding into one of Detroit’s TPE.

And that would make a lot of sense for both sides. Especially AJ Green.

I like the Kings package in a vacuum. Sabonis is much better than he gets credit for and Raynaud is going to be a stud. I don’t know how well they would fit in with the current roster but you get two gifted offensive big men.

Anthony Davis is better than any other player in these trades but we all see the red flags

the kings trade is pretty good. raynaud and cardwell are both decent pickups

If it makes you feel better, the Athletic removed the line about the Wizards wanting to swap AD for Duren.

If we trade Paul Reed I’m moving to Canada.

Yeah this is just a smoke screen they are using to drive up his market using us because we have assets

Absolutely zero chance Onsi has made an offer like that

Bro both wiggins abd kispert were both traded this summer they cant be traded until December.mid december

Yall must forgot qe past the internet age millennials are 30 plus as of this yr where in generation beta aka the Internet is now broken telephone

The only one of those trades I like as a Detroit fan is the Hawks trade.

Detroit salary dumped Levert to the Bucks a month or two ago

If I were you guys, I’d want AJ Green over Jacquez–and that is better for the Bucks as well. We have a huge surplus of guards.

Kind of absurd advice lol.
