Benn is a great player though and I will miss seeing him in a Pacers jersey. Hopefully he gets a break and ends up being a starter for you guys.

That’s high praise…. and honestly Indiana has a very interesting dynamic on their roster.
That being said, with all the love for Hali and the young guns…. To me, Pascal Siakam is the cornerstone of why this camaraderie actually exists. Pascal seems to really not care about ego and personal stuff. He is a great teacher, a great vet at the age of 32, with a championship behind him.
It is clear that the younger dudes listen to him, and it is clear that Haliburton, Nembhard, Toppin…. they really buy into this as well and try to incorporate their vision into the team.
Honestly, that season when the Pacers made a run…. I was not following the Pacers or anything… but I did go to the NBA Store and bought a Haliburton jersey. Him getting injured was so upsetting…
Like, I don’t know if there is anything I hate about this team. Not a fan per se… but I enjoy when they win. They seem like good dudes.
Media day hamminess and everything aside, thats a huge compliment. If the Pacers org is anything close to the camaraderie that those Euro national teams have theyre in a great spot as far as the culture/locker room goes.
Lots of questions for the pacers this upcoming season but as usual the power of friendship is not in question at all.
