One of my favorite sixers role players we’ve ever had. I thought when we got him that he was a bad player but he really surprised me. Not a perfect player but he gives tons of effort and plays well within a team. Pacers are going to love him.
As a KU fan props to him for playing so long in the league. He had talent, but dunno if I saw this coming.

I remember when he came into the league I knew he would be better than Stanley Johnson and Justise Winslow. His lateral quickness was always great, he had a good first step, he had the longest body of the three, and he had good shooting form. His flashes to me were more important than his production in college. I think a lot of scouts pay way too much attention to stats or college production.
I agree but I think it swings the other way too. Teams will ignore bad stats and bet on the potential only to not dig enough to see the actual concerns about a prospect

God damn did the wizards fuck up drafting. He was supposed to be the 4th guy behind wall beal, and otto.
As a Knicks fan, I’ve always disliked him because he usually plays well against us. But reading this makes me happy for the guy. Growth is always a good thing, and he has done well for all his teams. If he became a Knick, which I doubt will happen, I’d root for him.

I’m actually impressed. I didn’t think he would last so long in the league when he first got in.
I feel like Rick Carlisle and Haliburton can really open things up heavily for Kelly to be the most effective he’s ever been.
If things go right for the Pacers I think they’ll be like contenders easily.
