that was more of a problem with the pilot and the terrain. ny to pa is nowhere near as mountainous as east coast.

How different is a fender bender vs. a helicopter crash though

Helicopters are about 2-3x as likely to kill their occupants on a per mile basis. It’s not a crazy difference, but considering how dangerous driving is already it is too high for my liking.

If I crash my car im not essentially guaranteed to die. If there is a problem with my engine or a part breaks mid drive I simply pull over, in a Helicopter you simply die if autorotation isnt possible (literally just happened to a news crew).

Im sure youd rather be in a car accident than a helicopter crash.

For regular people, not for VIPs with security drivers.

Car crashes do not have 100% death rate like helicopters. When helicopters fail, it’s catastrophic every time.

But it’s known for its congested airspace.
