Lol relax. We gave Splitter his first nba head coaching job ever and empowered him the entire season. Half the time the assistants were the ones standing up and coaching players on the court during play, Nate Bjorkin especially, while splitter stood contemplatively at halfcourt. It also wasn’t even his system, it was Chauncey’s.

Either way he’s a good dude and might be a good coach one day, but our franchise doesn’t have time for a coaching project. We just got our 36yo franchise GOAT back on the team with our current AS and franchise player Avdija, who is getting paid as much as Darryn Peterson for the next 2 seasons.

Can’t count on a first time nba coach for that. Nori hasn’t been a head coach before (other than game 7 of the wcsf on the road which he won lol), but he has multiple decades on top tier nba experience. A much better fit for this team than a guy like splitter, who I think is actually way too player friendly and not tough enough or a strong enough leader.

I’m rooting for him though in CHI. I’m not trying to shit on him, he did a great job for us last year considering the situation. He’s just an extremely young and inexperienced coach, who is not ready to coach a serious playoff team yet.
