I think I remember him catching something that made him retain and gain quite a bit of weight this off-season. I just can’t remember what it was
it was shingles, you have to take steroids if you get it bad which makes you retain water like crazy
I think specifically the weight in the face from steroid use to treat shingles is referred to as “moon face”.
