I always tell the story of one of my childhood friends coming back one summer while he was a bench player at a mid major in college. We got together and there was an open run at the park we were at, we decided to go over and play and he just completely dominated.
I couldn’t imagine what it’s like playing against actual NBA talent. That friend had to guard Andre Drummond before he was in the league and it went exactly as you would expect it to go lol.
People like to think about skill gaps like very steady increments so it feels like they’re just 4 levels from HS to College to DLeague to NBA.
