Covid gave AD (and all the other vets) months of rest and recovery before the playoffs, then trapped him in a hotel down the street from the arena, leaving him with no possible way to hurt himself. That’s as ideal as it gets.

Not to mention the Lakers were still holding unofficial practices during lockdown, when they weren’t supposed to. You could tell which teams had actually quarantined and which hadn’t.
